You asked for it! Here it is. A soundcheck of the Bluesound PULSE FLEX 2i.
Even with the challenge of ‘hearing’ what a speaker actually sounds like via RU-vid, I decided to try anyway and give some impressions of the Bluesound speaker in comparison to the Bose Soundlink Colour.
** Please note **
The purpose of this video is to give you an indication of the speakers and how they compare sonically. (I like both speakers but they have different purposes and different price points. So they really shouldn’t be compared.)
I played the songs via Bluetooth to both of the speakers. (NOT the best choice for audio quality)
This was recorded using an iPhone XR and has been encoded by iMovie and RU-vid and now played back via whatever speakers/headphones you are using right now. (NOT as good as your own ears directly)

Totally agree! But of course I hoped so. It costs more and is a bigger box.

my experience with the flex 2i is the same. strong bass with presence, but where is the mid/high? that being said, it does fill a room (small) quite nicely and has a much wider state of functionality.

I’m saving my loose change for some Genelec speakers and a network streaming device. Until then I continue to be very happy with this little unit. I think you put it really well Peter! Thanks for sharing.

bass is for low educated people.. real people are not listening to bass sounds but balanced sounding music , classical at least.

So both are for classical sound then. Not a lot of bass of out either.
