I have already the Soundcore Select 2; there's not much difference to this, except for the battery lasting and the mAH capacity but I want to try this one too!!!
I enjoyed the video. I have other speakers by anker. I'll have to grab this one soon. You can't go wrong with any anker speaker. I've got small anker speakers like the icon mini to larger speakers like the motion plus. They all sound very good.
@@AxTenTen - I have a 2nd gen FiiO X3 Hi Def player that has no bluetooth, my guy. It has a source-out jack that requires a proper cable, as it should. It's normally connected to my $7000 stereo, but I want the option to connect it to a portable speaker, so this Soundcore 3 is off the list.
@@AxTenTen lossless audio my guy? Know about it and cut offs? Blutooth is good for average users such as us. Step into production and hell no! You need professional everything to cut noise, reverb, crisp lows through the mid and highs. Blutooth won't take its next leap until 5.0LE fully rolls out and even then still not as efficient. Blutooth has basically remained the exact same since 2003 with ADP being the only massively added feature. There's been no big leap and bounds on it except for range really.
I was about to buy this until I heard no Aux jack. Now it's a big NOPE. I have a FiiO HD player that is not bluetooth, but has a source out. I want to be able to connect it. SO CLOSE Anker. Stop dropping features.
What about the low battery alert? I have a wireless speaker that I had to stop using because when I slept and the battery was low(and I forgot to charge) this awful loud sound would blast out of the speaker and wake me up.

I've been looking about, and I think the next set of bt speakers I'm getting are Sony's XG300's. A friend has the older version and even at low-ish volumes the bass is superb. The Soundcore2's lack this, or you'd need to make them quite loud to hear the deep notes.@@noelbalderas38
NICE CLARITY!!!! Amazon has them for $40 right now... the same price as the #2. this one looks less tacky without the giant silkscreened logo. NOPE! no SD card is a total deal breaker.
@@SoulOfTech check it out in very curious. It’s got a dual driver speaker. And sound pulse tech. So it’s got little distortion at max volume but the bass isn’t as good as I’d like. 10 w. And brand new 💥Bt5.3. It’s what stands out. Easy carrying design. everything but without much bass. But this looks like the better speaker, im very curious. I have one but thinking of grAbbing a soundcore
A minha durou 4 meses, sem nunca ter caído. Passou a chiar o som e apresentar som baixíssimo, intermitente. Usada apenas para ouvir o programa do Padre Reginaldo Manzotti.
I got one of these and it’s great for holidays, beach trips and even just around the house- I listen to podcasts in the morning and can take this into the shower, and generally stick it in my pocket/hold it as I move about. For the price it’s fantastic. I also think they reduced the maximum volume in order to alleviate distortion.
Great review! This made me buy the Soundcore 3 for sure. Hey, a couple of RU-vidr questions if you don't mind? Where did you get your intro video and like & subscribe popup? Thank you!
Glad I could help! In terms of your second question(s), at the time I believe I was using Evanto Elements for graphic effects and my Intro video I had custom designed via Fiver along side my logo.
Great review. I’ve subscribed to your channel. I also ordered a Soundcore 3. How did you record the audio test of the speaker in this video? I must give a compliment because it is of high quality.
@@SoulOfTech No problem 😉 Sennheiser is a good choice for the mic. I have the Sennheiser Ambeo Smart Headset for iPhone. It records 3D binaural audio. Keep up the good work!
Update: I am using the SoundCore 3 for a couple of weeks now. It’s amazing what Anker delivered with this small, affordable Bluetooth speaker. You can crank it up to the max and it doesn’t distort or clip and also, the amp won’t limit the sound (common thing amongst other big name brands to prevent speaker damage). I have owned and used many different Bluetooth speakers in the last ten years. From unknown brands to popular brands like Bose and JBL. This SoundCore 3 Bluetooth speaker is the best in its price class. Even BT speakers that cost twice as much are outperformed by the SoundCore 3, both from a loudness level standpoint and most important, the sound quality. What’s also impressive, is the battery. SoundCore tells on their website that the speakers lasts 24 hours. And they didn’t lie! I think my next purchase will be the SoundCore Motion Boom Plus that’s priced under $200. Just to see and hear for myself what this speaker can deliver. The Motion Boom Plus is a large speaker with carrying handle and a total of 80 watts of amplifier power delivered to the drivers. Thanks again for your great review. Thanks to you I’ve discovered a wonderful speaker company 😊
