I ordered these (directly from Soundcore) specifically because they sit like a headphone, eliminating inner ear discomfort on long drives and flights. I needed more than what unboxing them provided me. Your vid is exactly what was needed to easily get me up & running. Super streamlined and great coverage of information.
@ivanazo666 Simply put, the fit. There's nothing wrong with the pro's, but due to how the driver is positioned, it doesn't sit low enough on my ears, to direct the sound directly into the ear canal, making the sound quality and volume suffer. Some people will love the pro's, but for me the v30i's are better and considerably cheaper.
RIP Juice WRLD ...I am 58 and discovered this Awesome Artist 2 years ago ..He defiantly died from the same lyrics and theme that he wrote about in his songs . Way too early for his demise .
Hey Ian, thank you for the reviews. How do you compare the Dot 3i to the V30i for comfort (fit & weight) and vocal quality/clarity (if that makes sense)? I also wear prescription glasses and listen to seminars and podcasts. By your review of the V30i it seems that they are much more comfortable than any of your in-ears, but I'm worried about the size of the overall package, i.e. the case, while being kept in my trousers or jacket pockets or even in a bum bag. Price wise I prefer the price range of the Dot3i and the V30i just in case I'll be out of warranty and they get faulty. Would you recommend other headsets though within this price range (USD 40 here) or above a little? Maybe the Note3i or the Liberty 4NC as they've been out for a while? My daughter has the P2 Mini, she's happy but when I tested them in a train (old train in Asia) the sounds from the headsets were buried and I don't think I'll get anything in that price range. Thank you for any insights.
Excellent review bro.Just purchased these open air buds. And just subscribed to your channel. Keep doing indepth reviews like this and you will gain more subscriptions.Thanks.
I believe that all open-ear earbuds have a less flexible rubber. This is most definitely due to the fact that the rubber alone is expected to support the whole device on your ears, contrary to plain in-ear earbuds.
Good review. Could you help me find an earbuds that has noise canceling so i wont any other outside voices in the gym and also has a long thingy that goes around your ear so it wont fall out during workout. Also if it has the feature which you could hear others talk and communicate without having to remove the buds would be awesome
You could compare these to the Samsung Galaxy Lives, especially since those, when probably on your ear, they are not in your ear. These most likely are more secure though. I use the Samsung Live for around the house and for watching movies. I want something for outdoors and more active things that I am afraid to do with my Live buds, because they have fallen off my ears. These and the Anker Soundcore C30i are the price point and the buds I am considering. The clip on of the C30i are interesting to me.
@@DanielleMalkinNinja I have the V30i, but on my motorcycle at over 30mph and faster, the wind noise over powers my music at max volume. I was wondering if these C30i would be better. In the past I normally use 1 in ear bud, so I can hear the traffic with my other ear. I also love how you can put the volume to the lowest level on my V30i and still have conversations in a store. The C30i might be better for all these, since they are closer to the ear hole. My V30i probably gets blown away from my ear, while riding my motorcycle. Just guessing since my helmet strap blocks my ears and I keep my mind on the road when I am driving. Thank you for commenting. 😀
@@Spanky8402 I have not tested these on a motorcycle, but based on testing with a huge fan while working out I can say that I have to turn the C30i up A LOT to hear the music with a significant amount of background noise. I can still hear fine but it’s almost max volume. Also, depending on how these fit you, they may not be the most secure in windy / riding conditions.
@DanielleMalkinNinja thank you. I think this is going to be the case for all open ear buds. Since wind can get in-between your ear and the bud, it seems to block you from hearing your music. I still might get them for bicycle rides and walking.
V30i just deliver sound and comfort without any "gimmick" feature. If you don't care multi-point connection and wireless charge, this is better than aerofit pro
