I did not have any issues with the humming sound, in fact there is one comment in this video where someone had a reply from soundcore themselves saying that it was only a batch of them that were bad
Great review, and I agree with one of the comments: lead with low price next time! The sophisticated look of the earbuds, full feature set and the app design almost scared me into not buying it because I thought they would have been more expensive! 😁 Subscribed!
muzzledot what I miss in both reviews is how the fit is ? They look very big so I wonder how the fit is? For me, nothing beats the Sabbat E12 as far as fit goes with an almost monitor kind of fit.
@@willyvlyminck201 I talked about fitment in my review. But since fitment and comfort is subjective, my opinion and experience with it might not help you if your ear shape and size are different than mine.
Have these East buds and agree with everything you said. About the bus not syncing together and just sound coming out of one. I have had the same issue. I just put them back and close the lid which closes the Bluetooth connection. Reopen the loud and try then again. No need to hard reset them. Granted it is annoying and happens at least once a day.
These earbuds comes with ANC Physical buttons Perfect for earbuds touch button didn't work every time Nice review bro.🙏🙏🙏 greetings from india 🇮🇳 Are these better than Sony Xb 700 In base.32 hours battery incredible
These Buds have been "Whoa-ing" Me for a whole Year Now, J. I Love them as much Now, as I did when I First Got Them. All, Thanks To YOU 🤗 HAPPY NEW YEAR J, JaneLee 🕊️ - in Suburban Philadelphia 1/2/21
How much better are these than the Liberty Air 2? I bought those at BestBuy I have a few days left to make an exchange. My question is should I exchange them for the Liberty 2 Pro for a few bucks more? Would love your take on this thank you.
That I don't know but I will say this, best earbuds I've ever heard! I just went through a bunch in the last week. No comparison. Even the jaybirds run XT pails in comparison! Worth every but 200.00, a bargain at 149.99, a steal at 109.00 fro. Amazon last week!
I'm weighing these vs the non pro model (Liberty 2) which is $50 cheaper. Are the Pros better for sound, or does the Pro model just give you extras like wireless charging?
Considering MUSIC quality only..price being no issue...which one would you recommend. Soundcore Liberty Pro 2 or Sennheiser momentum Truly wireless ? Thanks.
I've had the skullcandy crushers, the jbl e55s or something like that, klipsch over ear not sure of the model, beats, and bose over ear noise cancelling models and these buds sound better than them all in my opinion.
I just received mine, very good dynamic range, I had to use the manual EQ to minimize the bass that at times could be overwhelming Two drivers give you more accurate response, but they never match my Westone 3 drivers monitors. Be aware that Phone calls are horrendous , you sound 20 miles away from the microphone
Personally, I would have led with the fact that these are $150! however, I do like your vibe and flow, so I will consider subscribing to your channel after I watch a couple more of your reviews. Good job, P&P reviews! 👍
Mine doesn't have very strong bass. I'm using a Samsung galaxy note 20 ultra and have made sure all of the firmware is updated and have played with the soundcore app EQ and the phones EQ and still cannot get these 11mm drivers to vibrate. :(
I've Galaxy buds and liberty pro 2 tried for 3 week. I'm returning liberty pro 2 because design and user experience isn't there. In terms of Sound quality maybe little bit better. It's definitely not louder, sound a bit more sharper. I wouldn't notice them much difference.
Nice, very informative. I ordered mine last week and still waiting for Soundcore to ship them out. Apparently they didn't manufacture enough units to satisfy demand. Hopefully they arrive soon!
I have not received my Soundcore Liberty 2 Pros yet. Ordered based on this and other reviews. The HearID Test seems identical to Samsungs Adapt Sound. Is that right?
Very similar but seems to be more accurate and made for these earbuds. Also make sure you disable Dolby Atmos as it interferes with the soundcore app. When left on, all soundcore settings get disabled. Remember to disable Dolby Atmos!! Not needed with these!
Phone sucks. My peeps couldn’t even hear me. I was in a quiet area. However, not a bunch of buttons to push and they sound pretty good. I’m happy! I got them solely for the music! BASS? 😑😂
I would say they are great out of the box however if you like a super deep drop just change to the right mix in the Soundcore app and you would be set. As usual, this is pretty subjective.
BIGGG THANK YOU FOR THIS REVIEW!!! I WENT AND GOT A PAIR TODAY. after having jaybirds, Bose, Sony, Tao tronics, bang &olufsen , wow did I just mention BANG IN HERE? yessss these anker souncore liberty 2 are the BEST I've owned HANDS DOWN. 110% agree with this video and description. PLEASE LISTEN TO BLEM FROM DRAKE ON THESE EARBUDS .
Left the last review where you named these buds as your number 1 for 2019 so I could see the whole review. Thanks. Looks like they may very well be my very first pair Wireless Bluetooth Earbuds. If possible I’d like to send you what buds are on my two lists (Upper mid to $$$$ and mid to $). Let me know a good place to get in touch with you (Twitter DM?). Thanks for the heads up you dealt with, for another great review and for including us Canuckle heads in your links. 🇨🇦
hello, wonderful review. An information. I would love to buy this product but from the reviews I read I noticed that there is talk of static background noise (when the headphones are paused or when you listen to a pod cast) is this problem too? Can the sound quality of the music be affected? thanks in advance for your reply
Not that I noticed, maybe a tiny bit when there is silence but it's not bad enough for me to be concerned. It has no affect on music, these sound AMAZING
It's a specific batch of them that are defected in hardware. I pre-ordered and received one with that problem. Here's their reply: "Please rest assured, the issue has been rectified and we will obviously honor the Soundcore 18-month warranty, which allows you to exchange the product or have a full refund. For a replacement, the improved ones will be available in 3 to 4 weeks. If you don't want to wait for the replacement(improved ones), we will be glad to issue you a full refund. Please note the problem headphones need to be returned back to us."\ For the problematic ones though, the static sounds are very loud, probably due to some kind of voltage error in the audio output. The playback volume on my pair are loud at 20% and started to hurt my ears at around 40%.
I am with you on that. I was walking to the store with my earbuds on and as I was about to cross the street I couldn't hear an ambulance approaching and I had low volume music I had to quickly move out of the way. I will now be wearing only one side when I need to be cautious of my surroundings.
I've had a pair of these for almost two weeks now, they are the best sounding earbuds I've owned or samples. My daily cans are the bose BQ2 and usually I'd wear them all the time over any bud in the house, but I've found I've not instantly gone for the bise as soon as I've got in. I'm impressed. Also I picked them up for £75 on Amazon UK .
These are great sounding buds. I highly recommend them. My only issue is not being able to easily switch between sources. For example, when I’m at work it would be good to easily switch between my computer and phone without having to re-pair the Buds. Other than that I like them a lot.
Thank you for this review, you said that you have heard better and lower bass in in ear headphones, which are those please? I am a big bass head and so far the Sennheiser in ear headphones and have the best overall sound and with their app with much more control for the EQ but have to compared to the Sennheiser's?
I can honestly say the bass is plentiful BUT so balanced! Just feels right! Sounds like subs in your ears. Especially when using Tidal or Hi fidelity music! Sound is perfect. Bass is strong!!
Great video, I pre-ordered a pair still waiting for mine but this video has made me feel better about the wait 👍 alot of ppl have been reporting a hissing white noise did you experience any in your time with them?
@@JDubb seems like most people hear it when music starts to play, just going off a quick look at this community post community.soundcore.com/t/liberty-pro-2-background-noise/26627 l. Thanks for the fast reply btw
I really like what I'm hearing ..i have to know though... Do you get like a hissing from these? I had bought the jabra 65ts and they had a hiss that only went away when the volume was at 75 percent or higher. It drove me insane! Lol. Great review
Hi, (I'm sorry, but I don't see your name written anywhere, and you spoke it so fast - what I heard was - JDub ?), So - again, Hi JDub 🙂 👋. (if incorrect, Sorry) Thank You So Much for a "Perfect" Review 👍 ! My Husband ordered them, (post - my Many hours of searching) - They arrived 2 days ago - will be opening on Christmas Morning 🎄 😄. I am Saving YOUR Review/Demo, as it IS SO Good, that I will be following it to Set Up my New Ear Buds ! Very Much Appreciated 🤗. Just a, BTW - I have No Other Wireless Charging Devices, so will be Plugging them in, thereby , hopefully avoiding "possible" Overheating issue. I have had USB Type C since I got my "Beloved ❤️" Nexus 6P, in 2015 (🎄), and do have plenty of Type C Cords. (although they're - C to C). Another, BTW - I Believe my Husband was able to get the, $110 Deal on them ! Thank You again - Hope You Have a Great Christmas 😊. MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎄, AND A MOST HAPPY NEW YEAR 🥂 🎉 JaneLee 🕊️ - in Pennsylvania 12/19/19
I had great noise isolation, not noise cancelling which is great for planes but I think if you got a good seal with then yes, they would be great for travel
Hi, great review! Once you define the hearing profile on the app does it save it to the earbuds so that I can delete the app or connect to another device? Thank you
I have a set. I can hear a very low hiss when I listen to audio books or podcasts, but it’s very slight. When I’m listening to music they sound great. I just got a firmware update yesterday. Don’t know if that resolved the hiss issue.
Yeah I would try it for $9.99 or $12.99 but $20 or $25 is too much. Don't discount considering Amazon HD! It's 850 to 1100kps depending on the content and sounds much better than Apple music for me!!
I only have one small complaint with these, there is a small amount of white noise. I have two pairs and they both have it. Don’t get me wrong, it would never stop me from buying these or recommending them to anyone. These are by far the best earbuds I’ve ever heard.
Question: After performing the HearID test, which tunes these earbuds for my specific hearing (I have some hearing loss between 4kHz and 8kHz), does my unique HearID profile influence the other sound signatures? My concern is that after tuning these earbuds to my hearing, all of that would be gone when choosing other profiles. It would be more accurate for my HearID tuning to affect the other profiles. For example, I would like to use the “Jazz” EQ profile, but with my HearID adjustment (because I still have some hearing loss). Thanks in advance...loved your review, but will wait on your reply before Subscribing. Again, great review!
No, the HeardID test created one specific profile for you. I have seen, nor anything that would indicate it changes the others because the moment you select another profile, it disables the HearID one.
Does the music pause, when you take one earbud out of your ear? And is there a possibility to pause the music on the earbuds itself? Thank you for your answers in advance!
Are they as comfortable as Galaxy Buds? They look heavier and I guess one may feel them uncomfortable in ears. Anyone compared these two? Ankers remind me Bose Soundsport Wireless free that make a good sound but they are quite heavy and due to these rubber wings stick to the ears and for me they are uncomfortable.
I have to let you know that I tried Tidal on a trial basis. Although I found the overall sound to be a bit better than apple music and maybe just a tiny bit better than Amazon HD, the one thing I couldn't deal with was the volume level was much lower than the other two apps. So much so that I was running my buds on full volume and burning through the battery life with the Sony's, Senheisers and powerbeats pro among other buds as well!! To me, they are very expensive at $24.99 a month for what they offer? I would love to know if you experienced the same kind of volume issues? I also tried my Bose 11 and Bower and Wilkens headphones with the same result but usable because they have a much longer battery life and volume headroom than any buds I own. Thanks Ray N
I did, I found that audio normalization was turned on in the app settings. When I turned that off it got MUCH louder for me. Check that and give that a try.
Yes I found out the same setting on Amazon HD for normalization and when I turned it off, the sound was much louder. As far as Tidal, I couldn't try that because my free trial was over and there's no way I'm paying what they want per month for the service! Almost no one uses Tidal vs other services because of the price! They're out of their freakin minds and so is anyone willing to pay Dr Dre or whatever wrapper owns Tidal for their services. Alot of they're customers are canceling as well
@@raynicchia3478 yes I too am cancelling my subscription to Tidal for pricing and interface issues. Sound was amazing and loud and clear tho. 9.99 and I would reconsider.
Ok so I'm getting clipping and a popping sound when i cycle through different EQ settings, I even went as far as turning off Dolby Atmos and set my Spotify EQ settings to flat to see if that's what's causing this but still same issue.
@@JDubb Oh I'm bummed out about it because I'm loving these after going through so many I finally found a favorite. I'm returning them I placed another order since I got a coupon for $20 off. Hopefully the next pair will be at a 100%
Ok so I got my 2nd pair and I'm still getting that popping clipping sound, anyone else having this issue? It's more noticeable when I used the "ACOUSTIC" and "R&B" EQ settings, I'm really puzzled about this! Man I don't want to have to return them, I was really liking these earphones.
You resemble gamesky but your style resembles El jefe's. Very effective, very to the point. First time on your channel and really enjoyed. Had it been under 10 min would have been nice
@@JDubb Just got this response from them... So sorry, now our cooperative shipping company does not support to ship the item to Canada, hope in the future we can send to your country, so we cannot help you order it, thanks for your understanding. :(
I tried THREE pairs of these Liberty 2 Pro's, and each had the same problem: every 18-19 seconds, I would hear a click, followed by a left/right phasing glitch, which corrected itself after a second. Needless to say, this constantly recurring glitch made the buds unusable. Has anyone else encountered this problem with these buds?
