Hello ! I am from Haiti, I really appreciate your videos. I have ordered the Liberty 4 NC and I am really happy to see you appreciate it too. Having used wf1000xm3 just before them, I very much hope that they will be able to satisfy me.
My Soundcore Anker bluetooth speaker lasted me 5+ years of daily use in a high volume kitchen environment. Thing took a beating, and still always delivered better sound/volume than some of the fancier/more expensive brands guys would have. Still use it around the house now. Gonna grab a pair of the Liberty NC and see if the ear buds are just as good.
You can also open the case without pressing the button though. The button is not a latch, it only releases the magnet i think. So there will be no durability issue with it in the long run.
Great review, detailed and well presented as always.👍👍 Really like these - they make me wish I needed earbuds. But bought so many good ones (esp Soundcore and JBL) in such a fairly short time I'm gassed out ... for now lol.
Thank you for the thorough review, thank you! One thing I am having a hard time with, is answering calls on iphone using tap. A little annoying, but it could be a user error too. (ha) Overall a great pair of headphones for the money. I use these for music, audiobooks, podcasts, and Zoom calls for work in a relatively noisy situation. I like Soundcore's approach to noise canceling with 3 modes: noise canceling, 'transparency', and passive 'normal' mode; surprised that Bose over the ear only offers noise canceling or transparency. Finally, I wear these while shooting around on a Basketball court, for those who are interested in using it in a workout.
Thanks for getting an early review out this soon. I often get special offers from Soundcore & ordered them as on UK launch day. Partly to use for calls. Your review is clear & detailed which is just what I need. I'm impressed that these can pair with two devices at once - a very useful feature for me. I need a clear vocal sound for podcasts more than a solid base (something I use Earfun to achieve now). I use buds when I'm out walking for health, I hope these will work in that context, listening to podcasts (which can have very variable quality sound). Looking forward to trying these next week if they arrive. I'm planning to follow you reviews more often, they seem fair & informative.
Really loved your video, the presentation style, honest opinions and putting bullet points to summarise are really what a review video should have. I have two questions, would really appreciate if you can help. My requirements are - comfort in small ears, mic and overall call quality and battery. 1) Which is better between Liberty 4 NC vs Galaxy buds 2 pro( in this discount season, buds 2 pro will be around 100€ and Libery 4NC around 75€ in India). 2) Between Galaxy buds live and Oppo Enco Air 3 pro which one is better?
Thanks a lot! So I think comfort and small ear use will be quite similar between those two. I think the galaxy buds feel a bit lighter so maybe a slight edge for those. But Liberty 4 NC offer better call quality and much better battery life. The Samsung exclusive features really aren't that amazing anyway (see my buds 2 pro review for that). I don't think you need them. 2) Oppo. The galaxy buds live are pretty terrible. Poor performance and quite uncomfortable - avoid them. Oppo's earbuds definitely better. I know you have a Samsung phone but you don't really get that much of an advantage using Samsung earbuds unless you're heavily in the ecosystem (Samsung laptop, watch and tablet as well). Even then, the performance of the other earbuds outweighs those advantages anyway!
It seems like finally a earbuds have all the feature i want without spending a crazy amount of money. I got it for only 70€, i'm so happy and excited thanks !
Thanks for an excellent review. I am doing some research on which midrange earbuds are best for me and as yet have struggled to find one that ticks all the boxes. I have a slight hearing problem (esp some higher frequencies, and less volume in my right ear ...2010 World Cup... vuvuzela blown right next to my ear). I also need fairly robust sport earbuds, waterproof (running, biking and watersports). ANC due to my hearing loss also a must. These NC's seem to tick all the boxes, but can you do sports with them? Apologies for asking 'lazy' questions but I've been listening to many reviewers and I don't seem to be able to settle on a winner in the $100-129 range.

Hey, great video, love the way you present your reviews and comparisons. Could you help me choose between these and the A40s (and any others which may come to mind based on what I write)? So I don't listen to music therefore I'm not too fussed at sound quality or bass or anything like that (but I do watch lots of RU-vid and listen to podcasts). For me the most important things are: 1) Call/mic quality (my main use) 2) Battery life/charging time 3) It being more affordable and cheaper 4) Multipoint 5) I lay down on my pillow alot so it being easy to do that 6) Being able to use them in the gym Based on these weightings, what would you recommend?
These fit your first 4 points very well - the call quality and battery life here is particularly good (as is the price). You can use them in the gym, but how securely they fit really varies by ear shape. As for laying down on a pillow...most earbuds are not good for this, including these. The ones that are do not fit your other points well at all. No earbud has everything, so you have to compromise. I would still recommend these overall 👍🏼

If you want to prioritise the higher frequencies and also call quality...soundcore's Liberty 4 are probably the best option. They have sharper treble than the 4 NC (you can tone it down a bit in the app, which I do) and the call quality is slightly better too. As for the Air 2 Pro, I don't really think the sound quality is that much better than the 4 NC, but it does have slightly better treble. However the call quality is worse, so I wouldn't consider getting those personally. You get more control over the sound with soundcore's earbuds than the enco air 3 pro, so I think it's easier to get a sound style that like with those
Brought 4 nc today in discount I also have liberty air 2 But surprisingly the sound stage of air 2 is more open then 4nc And listening music in air 2 feels much better than 4 nc, tried many tracks & settings in app but it seems 4 nc have some driver restrictions 😢 Would have gone with liberty 4, but it's not available in India as of now

Thank you! I honestly don't think these can be beaten for value right now. But it really depends on which aspects you like in earbuds. NeoBuds do sound a little bit better in quality. But basically all the other features are better here with the Liberty 4 NC
Love your review! Could you please tell me if these could be worn with just one ear only (like a headset)? I have microtia and only one ear is big enough to fit the ear bud.
How do these compare to the Sony LinkBuds S? I can get the Liberty 4 for 80€ and the Linkbuds S for just 10€ more and am not sure how they hold up to each other. The Sony won the overall comparison 7 month ago - but how would the newer Soundcore fit in? Alternatively, I could get the Technics AZ60 for pretty much the same price... Love the video style of your reviews and the focus on not only best in class, but also value equipment! ❤
Thank you very much! So let's start with Sony and soundcore, there are pros and cons to both. Sony has really great controls and cool features like quick attention and speak to chat. It also has better call quality and sound quality. But Soundcore offers wireless charging, stronger noise cancellation and they fit some people's ears better too. I'd still give the overall win to Sony, but each are good at different things. The AZ60 miss out on wearing detection and wireless charging, they also don't have as good noise cancellation or call quality. They do sound the best though. I'd still place them in 3rd overall, but it depends on what you want from your earbuds!
It depends where you are. If you’re outdoors in an open field you can get over 500 metres away. It’s crazy. Indoors with other obstacles and signals…it really varies

How does this compare to Liberty 3 PRO since I watched your best of 2022 video with the 3 PRO winning the best value award. I'm thinking of buying the 3 PRO for 115$ or waiting for this to release in my country. If the prices were the same which would you choose? Thanks.
The only thing I prefer about the 3 Pro is the sound quality. More powerful bass and crisper treble, thanks to the ACAA tech. But basically everything else is better with the 4 NC, the fit and comfort especially. I'd take these if both were at the same price
@@insidetechltd Bought the soundcore liberty 4 nc cuz of this review, but now I'm looking for memory foam earbud replacements since I'm not used to silicone. got any advice on how to look for one? since this seems to have a locking oval shape to it that's not standard for memory foam ear tips. is there a more popular earbuds that has the same fit as this that I could use on my search?
These would move up in my own personal rankings if they hadn’t decided to use the unusual nozzles. I put SpinFits on everything for both fit, and consequently seal and sound quality.
This may be an odd question but I've been curious if you ever lay in your sides in bed with your earbuds in or sleep with them ever? Think for under 100 I'm torn between this and the a40s where thenonly thing i think I'd be worried about is size and fit of the bud. Great content as usual though!
Thank you! Space A40 definitely a lot better for laying on your side in bed. These are a bit too big for that. The space A40 aren't exactly perfect themselves, but certainly a lot better for that!

Wonderful review! I wonder, how is the bass on these? Most reviews I’ve read or watched on older Soundcore products generally find that although the sound is pretty good, they have a reputation for being bass cannons with ANC off and then completely saggy (i.e. light on bass) with it on. Did you experience that at all?
Thank you! I can't say I knew about that reputation myself - in fact i've always found it's the opposite if anything. Companies often 'increase' the bass with ANC on to help sell the illusion that suddenly you can hear your music better and make people believe the noise cancelling is better than it really is. The bass is quite consistent with these between ANC modes though - I always make sure to point this out if that isn't the case 👍🏼
I would say don’t pay much attention to the driver size - the tuning is much more important. Often smaller drivers can outperform the bigger ones. I think that applies a little bit here too. Galaxy buds offer a more balanced sound, but I think the bass is lacking compared to the L4NC. You get better personalisation options for the sound in the soundcore app. So I’d say they have better overall sound quality

@@insidetechltd I'm sending them back as the voice calling is horrific. Sound is good still. Also opted for XM5s, which overall I am very happy with. Sound is not as loud but so much more well tuned and crisper cleaner vocals

1. So they're slightly less comfortable than both of those just on account of being a bit bigger and heavier. But it really is just a slight difference - I still think people with small ears would be ok with these and I still find them comfortable. 2. It depends on the ear tip size you use - I use the large ear tips to get a really tight and secure seal in my ears. And because of that the passive noise isolation is very good - so they block out my surroundings well, even without ANC being on. If I used the small ear tips then there would be a gap and i'd hear my surroundings loudly. If I want to hear my surroundings comfortably i'd need to use transparency mode
@@insidetechltd Thank you for your detailed response, have you felt ear fatigue when wearing then for more than 3h, like it happens with Liberty 3 pro, which some people felt like they were very uncomfortable
I do eventually with most earbuds, but when I was testing the battery I listened for basically 10 hours straight and was ok. 3 hours is no problem. The Liberty 3 Pro definitely fatigue my ears a lot more because they are bulkier and heavier. The 4 NC were much better

Hard to say for certain without making an official ranking (and with prices always changing). Definitely best I've seen under $100. I'd be pretty confident placing them in the top 5 overall too. The value is excellent. Not quite as comfortable as Airpods or the liberty 4 on account of being slightly bigger and heavier. But I think most would get on absolutely fine with these

If you recall, your Soundcore Q45 recommendation did not work for me due to the sound. I have read other reviews on the Q45 and there seems to be a consensus that sound is it's weakest point. However, sound is also very subjective so different strokes for different folks. I love your reviews because they are thorough and it is evident you have done your homework. You also do not shy away from giving an opinion because this is the point of doing a review. Too many reviewers end up not stating their opinion on the product they are reviewing, which is really frustrating. That is why we need your reviews. Keep up the excellent work!

I'm debating whether I should buy the JBL tws pro 2 or the Soundcore liberty 4 NC. I just want good sounding earbuds with good ANC. And which one is better for exercising?
It's close. Soundcore has better ANC, so that's the reason I would probably pick those. JBL's Live Pro 2 has an IPX5 rating, slightly higher than soundcore's IPX4 - so that's possibly useful for workouts. But I expect the liberty 4 NC are cheaper anyway
I have the space a40s. The controls here are better, indeed. ANC is better as well. But how does this compare to that of the current ANC king Bose QC 2s? They may be worlds apart in terms of price point, but the more than 98% noise removal is a pretty daring claim.
It is a daring claim, and from my experience using them, they aren't on Bose's level for ANC. I put these in 3rd, just behind AirPods Pro 2 (they are both close). So that's actually extremely impressive given that there are hundreds of ANC earbuds (and that these are so much cheaper). But Bose is on another level for ANC - unrivalled
I have the Space A40 and Liberty 4 NC. The sound quality, volume, ANC, transparency mode and surprisingly even battery life are all better on Liberty 4 NC. The Liberty 4 NC additionally has fast pair, case battery level shown, triple tap controls & wear detection. The Space A40 wins for me at the form factor level (which is a preference as I prefer stemless buds) and (here's the kicker;) Mono mode. When just a single bud is used, the Space A40 plays both channels in the active earbud switching to a mono stream. The Liberty 4 NC does not do that. It supports usage of a single bud, but that active bud only plays its respective channel, even when the other bud is in the closed case. So it's either left mode or right mode, but no mono mode. Soundcore support informed me that it can't even be corrected with a firmware upgrade.

Does Jabra elite 7 active（not elite 7 pro）better than this on noise reduction? I don't call people a lot and not a sport guy, the most important point I focus is noise reduction because I really need a quiet time for do my work, and now the elite 7 active is 80 dollars on amazon(prime only tho),I can't tell the difference between Apt-x and AAC by use my ear , so put sound quality aside unless it sucks, do you think it's a better choice?
No, these are far, far better with noise reduction. These are one of the best noise cancelling earbuds you can buy - the performance is night and day vs the 7 Active
Im looking for some earbuds with this stem format. And the purpose is to use them all day, using them 90% of the time in meet calls. Thus, I'm focusing on call quality, and spending no more than 100€. I already found 1more comfobuds pro, Liberty 4 nc and jbl live pro 2, for example. But I struggle to find out which of them, or even other, could have a better call quality experience and less robotic voice. Could you help me please?
I think the Liberty 4 NC have the best call quality of those and will be your best choice. JBL's Live Pro 2 are also very good for calls, but i'd still have them in second

I don't think so. I think the sound is quite balanced overall, though I would recommend boosting the treble slightly in the app. It isn't overshadowed by the bass though
I think there's quite a substantial difference in the clarity. The driver quality is better so the frequency reproduction sounds cleaner and more refined. Similar tuning, but the Liberty 4 NC sound better
In lots of ways, yes. Feature-wise, definitely. Much, much better ANC. Better calls and probably better comfort (subjective though). I don't think the sound quality is quite as good but it depends on what type of sound you like. Overall upgrade though for sure
Hello, I like your videos. I want to buy a earbuds. For me, the sound quality is important like ldac and i want to hear clearly all the tones of the music, without too much bass. In the second place is anc very important, a earbuds that fits well in the ear and other features are not worthy. These are among the models I chose: jabra elite 4 active or jabra elite 5, edifer neobuds pro, huawei freebuds 5i, earfun air pro 3, earfun pro2, soundpeats mini pro, redmi buds 4pro, xiaomi flipbuds pro, anker soundcore life p3, anker soundcore liberty air 2 pro, anker soundcore liberty 4nc. If you had the choice among these models, which would be the top 3 or would you recommend another models (under100$)? Thanks and sorry for my english.

Any EQ shift on these with ANC on? My life Q30s had serious EQ shift and i absolutely hated how they sounded when ANC was on Transport mode. Hollow, thin and lacking any bass whatsoever. I loved that headphone but ended up mot being able to use ANC cause of that issue. I'm hoping it didnt cardy forward to this pair?
Im conflicted between these and the huawei freebud 5i ill use them mostly for gaming and anc i hear is pretty good on both, anyone here have this issue?
A very good question, because they’re on a very similar level and have similar features too. ANC is the key separating factor (it’s better with the Liberty 4 NC). They also win for battery, Bluetooth and codecs. JBL win for IP rating, connecting to voice assistants and I prefer the controls as well. Transparency is very similar (possibly a tiny bit better on the liberty earbuds). Sound quality also similar (with JBL offering more of a bass heavy sound). As an all rounder, I’d still have to rank Liberty 4 NC slightly higher, but it really depends on what you’re looking for specifically. They are close enough that could simply just pick your favourite design!
Phone calls: yes. Better ANC means you can hear the caller much better, and the better mic quality means the caller hears you better too. Sound quality: no. The ACAA structure for the drivers makes the L3P sound better. It does depend a lot on the fit though, and many people find the L3P too big/bulky, so they can't get a tight seal and therefore the sound quality suffers. The 4 NC have a more universal fit and shouldn't suffer as much from this problem - just something else to bear in mind
Of course it depends on the volume level and how tight the fit is in your ears. If you play at super loud volumes then people will hear it. But in general the sound leakage is relatively low with these - so other people shouldn't hear too much
Hi I bought it but Im hearing extraneous noise like wind noise in my headphones in noise reduction mode, has this happened to someone before and is it normal? It's a new one. I have also sony wf-1000xm4 and it's not doing that
@@insidetechltd yes but i got the sony wf-1000xm4 and compare to the liberty 4 NC the wind noise on the earbuds is very reduce on the sony than the liberty 4 NC. And for the noise cancellation, it's better to don't have the white noise if you want to work without noise. So for me the liberty 4 NC is not the better option for that.
Unless you have lots of Apple devices in the ecosystem, or want to use them for workouts (beats much better there), I'd still go for soundcore (for the same reasons again)
To be honest they are better in basically every way. Calls, ANC, sound, features...maybe EarFun's touch controls are slightly more responsive, but the Liberty 4 NC win
It's hard to say - everyone's ears are different. There are small ear tips available which should help. These are not especially big or small..so I think you'll just have to try them!
Can you review the oppo enco x2s? And in comparison with other buds such as one plus buds 2 Pro, Samsung buds 2 pro liberty 4 Nc and non etc. I would like your take on the oppo enco x2s and there aren’t many good comparison videos. Also I’m quite sad that I can’t find these buds in india because they are quite competitive with the enco x2s for features.
My schedule is pretty busy to fit in an oppo enco x2 review in full atm, sorry! But in general I think there are better all-round earbuds for the price, so I wouldn't recommend them really. Do you have any specific questions I can help answer for now?
@@insidetechltd well for me they are discounted and 122 dollars. The one plus buds are more expensive and A bit out of my price range. Also the Liberty 4 is unavailable for a cheap price here and I might as well buy AirPods Pro gen2 instead of them. What other all rounders would you suggest? I care most about multipoint, good sound anc and transparency. I have seen so many reviews and most have said the sound of enco x2s is fantastic, it has multipoint and also it’s anc is good. Transparency being serviceable is alright by me as I do not use that mode too often.
Honor's earbuds 3 offer better ANC than the enco x2, so i'd get those instead for a start. But good all-rounders include sony Linkbuds S, Technics AZ60M2, AZ80, Sennheiser CX Plus. Check out the earbuds awards or the best earbuds under $100 on the channel if you want some more options 👍🏼

Since I started the channel i've been using the free sounds from RU-vid's built-in audio library! I know, i'm actually a creator doing that and not subscribing to epidemic sound!

It depends on each earbud, how well you look after them etc. But in general I’d say that’s a pretty normal lifespan. You might get lucky and they last way longer, you might not 🤷♂️

This video was great, and you basically sold them to me. But with the Amazon discounts I'm now faced with a choice: these for 70 bucks or the jabra elite 7 active, which are going at 99€ (from 170)? I haven't found any good review of those one and I don't know how they compare... Which one would you recommend, at these prices?

I’d go for these then. The ANC is fantastic! Far better than on the Elite 7. The gap between the ANC quality is much bigger than for the sound quality. So I’d go for the Liberty 4 NC personally
