There is no easy virtual soundcheck, but there is a work around if u don’t mind spending a little time setting it up. I use the usb recording and have perfect performance and playback. I assign my live performance and recording channels to BANK A. I then copy the channel strip settings to the same faders on BANK B. On bank B, I assign the inputs in the Soundcraft Si to the corresponding USB channel on the channel strip in my DAW (Reaper/Logic/ProTools) rather than the XLR inputs on the mixer or stagebox. The band can come out, listen to FOH, make tweaks on BNK B, then copy ACS settings back to BANK A on the channels you edited. Yeah, it’s a long way around, but it works. This isn’t going to work with heavier channel counts, you run out of faders after 30 and have no faders left for customizing.

I use an Si Expression 3 and came up with a work around. It's not exactly ideal. I use on my MAD/USB card to do a multitrack and do VIRTUAL SOUND CHECK using any DAW and my Si. If you have more than 30 channels, it's not doable due to not having enough faders. On an Si2 it's going to be how many open faders you have on both banks. On FADER BANK A I assign the inputs from my xlr connections from stagebox and console. On FADER BANK B, I copy the ACS for each channel from FADER BANK A to FADER BANK B's corresponding fader. Now go into the input mapping for all the copied channels on FADER BANK B and assign the input to take the output stream from your DAW. For me, the USB channels start at 33. I'm not sure how your DAW recognizes firewire channels, but hopefully you can assign a DIRECT OUT for each of those channels in your DAW to send back to the Soundcraft Si FADER BANK B and then go and make adjustments to your mix while the band takes a break. Now the bummer is, you need to copy all your FADER BANK B settings for any changes you made back to FADER BANK A to recognize the change in the live mix. I have templates set up in both my favorite DAW (Reaper) and my Soundcraft Si to correspond. Lot's of steps to get there, but it works great. I tried another theory that didn't work out, that was double assign the FADER from BANK A to BANK B and re-assign the inputs. That way, changes would be made to either fader when another one is changed. Doesn't work. It changes the inputs on both if you change it on one. Unable to isolate. Cheers.
