You nailed the gorgeous Snare Ring you clearly hear in the original. Its got so much character, the whole production and mix really! 🥁 The playing also perfectly shows one of Matt Cameron's drumming's main features, which is the skill to play in a relaxed manner wihtout making it sound generic or boring - his fill-ins, the grooves, etc...he is a big part of the Grunge drum sound for a reason. 🔥🔥

@@incubrian it irks me to no end when he plays even flow or state of love and trust like they're in a freaking rat race. those songs need weight, not speed. I love Matt, but he does fuck up some pj songs...
@@rbnh9827 i dont care who made what decision, the songs sound like shit when they play them that fast. even flow at mach 10 sounds like a bad cover band playing pearl jam. matt cameron, for all the hype he gets, should play it like the original. fans want to hear the song, not a sped up version that sounds like "mailing it in"

I probably should be used to the incredible precision and accuracy by now, but it’s still just as impressive as the early videos. Spot on in every aspect. One of my top 5 favourite channels on RU-vid. And Pascal has become one of my favourite drummers to watch. He’s like a method drummer, he doesn’t just play the drum parts, he plays like the original drummer.
I'm not a drummer, but I appreciate good drumming and I could watch Pascal - (Pasquale?) - playing all day. He nails everyone's playing and sound so effortlessly it's a pleasure to watch and listen to him.

Amazing sounding cover! Certainly not a note for note transcription but more of an interpretation within the realm and feel of Soundgarden and Matt Cameron. I did miss some of the original fills but appreciate this work nonetheless!
Well done sir! Wow...I've tried this many times and get 90% of those fills but struggle on the 2 quick fills. Weak left hand compared to right. I've got the feel down and the slow af groove (a Cameron distinctive staple) but great to see someone else play it 99.9% on the $. Just subscribed to your channel, can't wait to see more. The sound on songs like Uptown Girl, My Life, and Still Rock n Roll To Me are so different and punchy. I'm curious to see your take on it.
Exactly. Unfortunately we have no 24" kick drum for our Renown kit. That's why from time to time when we want to use the kit but need a 24" kick we steal this one from our pdp kit. This happened a few times now :D
His discography with Soundgarden speaks for itself- but yea, his paycheck gig with PJ is phone in at best…doesn’t showcase an 1/8th (note) of his chops or creativity for arranging badass parts
Technically perfect but felt a bit mechanical and lifeless this is the challenge of slow songs. Still a fantastic job! Very very picky critique but your that good!
