I seem to remember that Chris, as well as a few other big name people were exposing, or were about to expose certain pedophiles around that time. And if you think that he did himself in, well, I have a bridge that I'd like to sell you in Arizona. Do you also believe that Brian Epstein killed himself... all alone with the security camera conveniently disconnected in his comfy little jail sell? Staged, and obviously fake suicides are the easiest ways to discredit whistleblowers and their evidence.

Rest In Peace Chris Cornell. Truly a legend and one of the best of rock n roll..
@rachelhendricks6886
@rachelhendricks6886 7 лет назад
There are a lot of celebrities out there than when they die, it doesn't really strike me as significant. It doesn't have an impact on my life. But hearing about the death of Chris Cornell hit me like a knife in the gut. And the longer I sit to think about it the closer I am to tears. Chris Cornell has had one of the biggest impacts on my music taste of any artist I've ever heard. For the longest time my music taste was limited strictly to 70's 80's era Rock. But it was Chris Cornell and his work with Soundgarden that ultimately introduced me to the sound of 90's grunge. Wether it is his work with Soundgarden, Temple of the Dog, Audioslave, or even his solo work- he always brought something truly unique to the song. His song " You know my name " was the perfect opening to Casino Royale and set what was to be the tone for then entire Daniel Craig run as Bond. And the wonder and exhileration I felt hearing his vocals on Soundgardens " Live to Rise " at the end of my first viewing of the Avengers is a feeling that has lasted longer than even my thoughts on the film itself. The music industry has lost a modern Legend today- and there is going to be a hole in the radio that nobody else can fill or replace.

"What if all you understand/Could fit into the center of our hand?" - refers to the Infinity Gauntlet. "Then you found it wasn't you/Who held the sum of everything you knew" - refers to Thanos. "We're insane but not alone/We hold and let go" - The gathering of heroes (the Avengers) in spite of their differences and isolating qualities (Hulk/Banner is lonely because of his insane ability); putting their faith blindly in one another and letting go in the hope of defeating their enemies. "Like the sun, we will live to rise/Like the sun, we will live and die, and then ignite again" - refers to The Infinity War, where all the heroes are defeated and half the universe is killed, until the effects are reversed. Also refers to Thor's resurrection after being united with Stormbreaker having more or less died from taking the full force of Nidavellir. "What if the one thing that I missed/Was everything I need to pass the test?" - Possibly a nod to Iron Man's accidental creation of Ultron through miscalculation. Could also be reference to Hawkeye missing a target. "And if I fail, what happens then? Can I still count on you as a friend?" - refers to the conflict between Iron Man and Captain America in Civil War. "Warm my face/Warm your face." - The resurrection of the heroes of the universe after Nebula undoes the effects of the Infinity Gauntlet. Marvel have always been 50 steps ahead when it comes to planning out their stories. They obviously told Chris Cornell what they were intending to do ages before it transpired. Genius.

Tony Stark isn't real. He's a fictional character, and thus his death should not be compared with those of Chris Cornell and Stan Lee, who were both real people with real families and friends mourning them.
@juneb7g
@juneb7g 2 года назад
@@Ariel_thenotsolittlemermaid Just because Tony Stark isn't real doesn't mean some people aren't allowed to mourn his death. Yes we understand he is fictional, but to some people, the deaths of meaningful characters hurt them. So leave this person alone and let them have their peace of Tony's death.
@Ariel_thenotsolittlemermaid
@Ariel_thenotsolittlemermaid 2 года назад
@@juneb7g I'm not saying people can't be sad over his death, don't put words in my mouth. All I'm saying is that no matter how much his death hurt you, it is not comparable to the deaths of real people with real families and friends and it's disrespectful to those people to compare the 2 situations and act like they're the same. I'm a big fan of Marvel, I'm also sad Tony and Nat died, but you can't honestly think that the pain we're feeling is close to that of those who have lost a real loved one.

"What if the one thing that I missed/Was everything I need to pass the test?" - Possibly a nod to Iron Man's accidental creation of Ultron through miscalculation. Could be viewed as a reference to Hawkeye missing a target. Also alludes to Thor losing Mjolnir in Thor: Ragnarok. It also refers to Thanos having to sacrifice Gamora in order to gain the soul stone. "And if I fail, what happens then? Can I still count on you as a friend?" - refers to the conflict between Iron Man and Captain America in Civil War. Also refers to Thor and Loki's relationship, particularly during and after the events of Thor: Ragnarok. Could potentially apply to Iron Man and Doctor Strange; they started off on the wrong foot but grew to respect each other, and in the end Tony is left only to blindly put his trust in Strange's decision to surrender the time stone. Genius.

In the comics she usurps Thanos to claim the gauntlet for a short period, though she uses it to finalise her own ends and becomes a villain, though it's only temporary. I don't think the Russo brothers will abide with that plot line entirely, though something tells me she'll have a big part to play in Avengers 4.

I was just sitting around in the theatre with some nerds talking about how great the movie and this song was, and suddenly the end credits scene, which was hilarious.

Okay, everyone is giving thier own spin on this song, so I will too. I like it. Its somewere in between Soundgarden and Audioslave. It is not either or both, but a comfortable transition stage. And it flows and it has a deep meaning.

joanne lijoi mazza Ay, no need for that attitude. U2's songs are written full of meaning, so it was only a compliment to how good the song was lyrically. Why would you insult someone like that over a compliment? You should get that stick out of your ass, bro.
