Good old days,i remember the cold winter nights, sneaking my psp under my pillow at night and playing fifa all night or even Tekken or Gta,true happiness EDIT:THANKS FOR 182 LIKES😄 EDIT#2-HOLY SHIT 350+ LIKES🤌🏻
@@jayjayrumpzzz1785 Pes i only played Pes2013 that is my all time favourites,Fifas i started at 07 all the way to Fifa 14 in the PSP then i started playing on consoles and stuff,i still got that PSP after all these years
@@FabOnRL I had mine up to a few years ago and I wanted to play my old games so I thought the issue was that the battery was old. I buy a new battery and it doesn’t fix anything. Turns out after seeing some similar cases online it won’t start because of when my brother jail broked it. Regardless it was worth jail breaking it, had we not and I would’ve never got to play some good games🥲
PSP was very great at the time. I got it when i was 8 years old in 2013. Smartphone were still very slow and not much choice for a video games. So instead my father buy me the PSP and it blows my cousins mind who has a smartphone. It was beautiful. RIP my PSP (2013-2018)
@@ShortMiaoyeah same here lmao so many Pokemon games and Mario there’s no question what was better but the PSP had its own thing and as time passes I’ve grown to appreciate it more than the DS
@@ShortMiao The PSP is undeniably superior as a device in general on the processing power and media capability side, but the DS is SUCH a FUN and portable thing to use and that's what makes it great. It's super portable (particulalrly the DS Lite), has a long lasting battery, good games, and has a ton of little things like Pictochat and birthday celebration that make you fall in love with it. The PSP was supposed to be an "everything anywhere console", while the DS was solely a portable gaming device, and both excelled in their use cases. That said, there is no denying that the PSP is objectively a better buy today because of it's greater emulation capabilities and ease of repair, making it a more worthwhile thing to get in the long run. Particularly the fact that the touchscreen on the DS deteriorates when using a pen is the prime thing i think of here. The PSP is also much easier to jailbreak than a DS ( R4 cards and the like are more scarce nowadays) and has a LOT more potential for hardware modding/ upgrades and homebrew. This is why I myself like the PSP more than the DS, because it has a lot more to explore and is easier to get into, so you get a lot of bang for your buck. It is objectively the better handheld even though the DS is amazing.
I loved the PSP, I remember my mom God rest her soul,, bought me the PSP out of nowhere on the first day of Summer vacation in 2005 xD! I didn't even ask for it, haha I remember we were having dinner, we just finished eating, and she told me to go to her room and bring her this bag on her dresser, so I did, and then she said Aren't you curious what's in this bag, I told yes xD, she said to open it, so I did and it was there with 5 games and a 1GB memory card, I couldn't believe my eyes haha, it was a moment that I will not forget, she was an amazing mother may she rest in peace!
Loved the media functions on this, too. I had music and skate videos I downloaded on my pc and would put it all on those memory stick duos. Had that brick in my pocket walking home from school listening to music it was badass.
Gta vice City in LAN or that one monster game where you'd scan for colors with the camera. I have that bundle for instance. But i couldn't beat that darn tiger shark man
I always remember when my cousin got the Psp for Christmas, we all ran to his bedroom to see him unbox it. While he was busy taking out the Psp, I immediately open the game case and break the UMD to take the disc out and he completely loses it and starts crying 😂
I just found my dad’s PSP. I bought a new battery, installed some games and I absolutely love it. The only gaming console that actually fits in your pocket and plays really good games.
I remember playing the 2 God of War games on the PSP. I was shocked how amazing those games were back then. And yes, they still hold up. Amazing handheld. I still have mine in working condition. ❤
I had the psp 2000 back in 2010 and that thing was sooo good.... I remember playing wwe, pirates of the caribbean, spider man 2 and many more amazing games..... And also used watch movies and listen to music and browse the internet!..... That was truly the peak of gaming
I still have mine with lots of games, it became my friend for longer than my actual friends lol. I still display it on my desk after many many years. The good memories...
I remember beeing so blown away when they appeared. Way before smartphones. It seemd unreal that you can play PS2 games in a car on a long trip as a kid
When I was little, my mom used to go to this gym that had a daycare. My parents didn’t let me play much games growing up… I’ll never forget when this older kid handed me his psp and I played 5 minutes of GTA.
I used to have PSP, sucha a great remote and comfy to handle console. 0 bugs, 0 ovverated graphics. You can watch movies listen to music, playing games, watch documents… sucha a great times
A portable dvd player, music player and video game player, definitely one of most versatile game consoles to ever exist. Perhaps one of the greatest devices to ever be created! I hope someday they make a remastered version or something similar.
My first experience with the PSP was actually my Dad's. He and my mom separated and I didnt get to spend much time with him as a kid but one weekend he took me over to his (GF's) house and let me use his PSP while he went to go do earrands. He had a bunch of games for it so I had a blast and he eventually later on let me keep it
Those were some great times for gaming I miss it so much. I had that thing with me everywhere, it felt like a breath of fresh air in that gaming era. Way ahead of its time, newer tech can’t bring the joy the psp brought that’s why it’s so special to those who had one including myself
Now only available through PPSSPP (unless you managed to get it before they took it off the store, which I did. Apologies to everyone else; this game is a banger and it should never have been taken off the PS store
I remember so clearly, rushing to the mall to fetch this game on my psp. It was raining mad. But I was determined and a very happy kid when I got my hands on that UMD 😍
I still have a PSP since my childhood and I am 18yrs old now And I still love to play on it , the best thing in the whole world (I have Fifa 11 and ben 10 games!!)
Here: Gta vcs Gta lcs Gow ghost of sparta Gow chains of Olympus Mortal Kombat unchained Their are alot of great psp games but get all these and you'll be set for a while.
One of the best portable console ever.I spent most of my school days playing:Gow chains of olympus, gta vice city stories, tekken 5,mk deception, manhunt 2.Miss those times....
I actually replaced mine myself when mine cracked. I still have the old screen in my room as a reminder tha, if I want to, I can diy a fix of O have a set of instructions and set my mind to it
I always wanted one but unfortunately we were not financially equipped enough when I was young to afford a PSP for me and my brother. Kids these days wouldn’t understand but seeing a PSP after playing Gameboy for years man. That thing was like something I couldn’t have even imagined back then.
I never even knew that the PSP existed at my age.But those sounds make my brain tingle like nostalgia! When ive never had one let alone SEEN one in person…
Bruh I remember like 3 out of 10 of us in a friend group had those. We’d go to either Walmart or McDonald’s and play GoW2 on the hardest difficulty and give up the sticks when we 💀💀. Amazing times.
wow!! this is so nostalgic for me, i got goosebumps when you powered it on, this shit was my childhood!! i had a candy red psp with vice city, wwe, ratchet and clank all the classics
When me and my cousin were young we used to go on “recon” missions to my grandparents room where all the gifts for Christmas would be kept. And still till this day, I would never forget the feeling of finding, picking up and holding a PSP box and being completely hype for Christmas. I remember us going back to the room every day for a whole week leading up to Christmas just to geek over holding a PSP box lol Kids these days would never know the hype of having a PS2 literally in your pocket. The times man hahaha
From the moment I held a PSP I always wanted a cellphone like it; huge screen and capabilities...also due to what Skype was capable of at the time...when the iPhone dropped I guess my wish was granted even though I ended up getting a Galaxy instead...The current iPhones are exactly what I envisioned.
