Another great video from George. I would also point out that another great use for the FRED function would be with a Soundcar decoder in a car that has a FRED. Although my layout is set in the 1970s which means cabooses. Which brings up an idea for George. Would ever consider doing a video on the new Athearn ICC cabooses. I have 2 of them and the magnetic wand does not seem to work to consist not sure if there is an issues with the decoder or if I am doing something wrong. I have also noticed that Decoder Pro does not recognize them. So are they a full Soundcar or something unique to Athearn.
Thanks for the feedback! We will keep this in mind for future videos. The magnet in the Athearn ICC cabooses is a little tricky to get to if you don't have a strong magnet. So make sure you are using a strong magnet. If you contact our Support Department they can explain where you want to be waving the magnet as well: support@soundtraxx.com or (970)259-0690.
Just got a TSUNAMI 2 and playing with the settings: wish I could figure out how to adjust the brightness of the ditch lights because they have to be set as ditch lights to flash properly, as opposed to using brightness register 1or 2… or could that be made to work? Also would love to set the headlight to give a gyralight or such indication when the e brake is applied. Possible?
