Two intelligent, witty and gritty players who always have a victory in their mind - Ash and Ganguly are Cricket's gems. Just one irking thing about Ash is that he never mentions Dhoni nowadays at all. Its all about Kohli, which I feel is not right.

That is because Dhoni kept dropping Ashwin in the foreign tours.. Jadeja played on his spot though Jadeja's bowling and batting are below Ashwin's standard.. Kohli clearly gives credit to ashwin which he thoroughly deserves

Great Guru Ha ha good joke. Dhoni was the one who brought Ashwin into limelight, making him a strike bowler, and allowing him to play his attacking game. Kohli is just reaping the awards of what was created by Dhoni. Also Ash's batting blossomed under Dhoni, which Kohli is again exploiting. Let Ashwin fail in overseas in one test, lets see what Kohli does.

It is good that you can laugh for your own joke.. Ofcourse Dhoni brought him to the lime light.. but Ashwin is not a push over, he has brains and stands on his ground.. which Dhoni doesnt like.. Secondly his test match captaincy is a big joke, he never likes to make a change on the playing 11 and 4 members always sit in the bench ( but only when Ashwin failed single game in abroad, he made him sit on bench ).. Ashwin has more freedom under Kohli's captaincy, Kohli recognizes Ashwin's role on India's success.. Btw I am pretty sure that Ashwin knows whats happening in the dressing room better than you..

Great Guru Since u seem to know everything, hope u know Ash has a little bit of attitude too. Not that it is wrong, but he is becoming a touch haughty, which is why he doesnt credit Dhoni. And its puerile to compare Kohli's captaincy with Dhoni's now. Its the same what u fans did when Dhoni took over and pulled down Dada. So this is just a cycle. Hope u keep supporting him once he starts losing overseas.

Sachin dominated every legendary spin bowler like Shane Warne, Muralitharan, Daniel Vettori, Saqlain Musthaq. Dada too dominated every legendary spin bowler, but completely over shadowed by Tendulkar due to good defence, long innings of Sachin compared to Ganguly. But in terms big hitting in spin, Ganguly is little bit better than Sachin and far better than any batsmen in the world till date.

People complaining about the interruption...a) it is edited and b) the personal questions were told to be asked, it was clear from the way he jumped to those.....you could see the flow when they were talking about cricket. Just sit back and enjoy the smartness of both the cricketers. Both are big fans of each other and respect each other a lot. Be happy and stop spreading negativity online, it's pretty easy to do but difficult to take back.

Ganguly has been a great champ and the first captain to put Australia in its place. The first captain to stick India's name firmly on the world map of cricket as a power house. Ashwin being the fastest to various bowling milestones, he is not being given the due respect he deserves. I am so happy to see Ganguly treating Ashwin with great respect.

Sachin may have given a generation of Indian cricketers growing up in the 90s, the belief and inspiration to make it, but the leadership that Ganguly and Dravid brought in the 2000s truly transformed India. Dhoni built upon it in a phenomenal way and now Kohli has taken it to another level. And the current team has multiple top notch leaders - Rahane, Sharma, Ashwin. Even Bumrah is very much a budding leader.

36:15 Ashwin chuckles. His wife was pregnant and was expecting his second child. Daughter was born 3 days after this video was published. Nobody knew in the media until now. It was announced in the news today.
