watched a lot of these bike checks lately .this one stands out, most of the guys hesitate to explain in detail the specs and their mindset regarding their setup.maybe they are a bit shy on camera hahah who knows. Lacey explains it in a sharp way and using straight, simple, COMMON SENCE -which is rare these days! Really enjoyed this one!

That was hilarious, Lacey is a boss. Met him in Stockwell years ago and he killed it and was super cool to everyone. Got to admit- he's right, no point in saving 20 grams to have a broken bike or adjust your foot.position to have a peg you don't use. Brilliant!

It would be really nice, to get, the riders dimensions in every Bike Check. Hight, weight, do they have extra long arms or legs. This knowledge, is going to help anyone interted in the frame or parts. Nyquist, is... a different "build" from Hoder. Right?

another reason people ride shorter cranks these days, 165mm cranks will/should accommodate the 4th pegs easily but what do i know 🤷‍♂️ 2 pegs gang

@@Wellunknownbmx nah you right I ride a bsd alvx and I have my backend at about 12.65-12.75 which is why I run 160 mm fit blunt cranks so I don’t clip my heel.

I guess i all boils down to if you really need/want the 4th peg, there are ways around it, i'm just not willing to do it (yet) cranks aint cheap
