4x4 trail in Arnold California. Originally named pine needle flat, now re named Sourgrass trail. Nice easy out and back trail with great camping spots along the river. Right off highway 4 in Tuolumne county in the Stanislaus National Forest near the Calaveras big trees. Great trail for all levels of wheeling, Grand Cherokee wj 4.7 v8

Is the campsite at the end or the beginning of the trail? Hard to tell from the vid. Is this a one way trail also?

Campsite is at the end of the trail. It’s an out and back 2 miles in and 2 miles out

Where is the river crossing at exactly? Had a hard time finding it. We went til we hit a loop and went down a steep hill and came back to where we seen a few vehicles camping but I checked my maps and seen we still needed another 1/2 mile or so to travel to complete the trail

I missed the creek crossing too, looped around that steep part you went on. There is a fork on the trail where going right/straight takes you to that steep area and going left takes you to the creek crossing

lockers would be better than bigger tires!

Lockers are in the future for sure. I need the ground clearance tho I keep high centering. The rear has a posi that helps but it’s defiantly not as good as a locker

it that is the Overland version WJ it should limited slip in the front and rear already so that's better than most @@thegrandalorian2763

Thanks, it was on a 4 inch rough country long arm in this video I have since upped it to a 6 inch. Drivetrain is all stock at this point except for the 242hd swap. It has the factory posi front and rear

You need lockers even one would have helped

I would love a locker but I’m only gonna rock the factory posi front and rear for now. I dont wanna dump money into a 44a

@@thegrandalorian2763 get a spartan locker for the 44a and a skid plate from mountain vista fabrication. I'm running 33's on mine with no troubles at all. That pinion shaft has a dana 60 diameter shank and is plenty strong enough.

Yep a cheap lunchbox locker and you'd climb right up.
