You know, I've not bought Doritos in years, and very recently discovered that Doritos once ran a promotion with Jurassic World, which is likely where the idea for Doritos dinosaur came from. Which means I assumed Ordinary Sausage just decided to randomly have a doritos dinosaur as a side character and did not, at any stage, think to question this decision.

I think you're gonna have to try something like this one again Mr. Sausage. Maybe do like a chicken fried steak but use Doritos instead of flour for the coating.

Maybe putting the Dortios through a food processor and just lightly coating the steak would have helped reduce the dehydrating effect while maintaining the nacho cheese flavor?

I definitely feel you needed less doritos, maybe pound them into a fine powder first and use like one or two fist fulls, then let dorito Dino snort the rest. Also, salt and pepper and maybe a spoon of butter powder.

Frankly the best way to do anything Sous vide is by taking all the liquid and anything else in the bag off the steak after sous vide, patting the steak dry, and then giving the steak a sear. This one frankly should get a redo. Or at least moving forward, that's the method of experimentation.

Try this again but next time use a spice grinder to turn the Doritos into a powder. Season the steak generously, then after the Sous Vide give it a quick sear with some butter.

Mr Sausage, you should try this one again but quickly deep frying at the end if you’re going to leave the Doritos crust on like that. I imagine the texture was all wrong in this iteration, but you can work it out for the sake of Doritos dinosaur! Bonus points if you can create a Doritos sauce to go on the side to serve with it.

Considering this one was a Dortios steak, you should do a Doritos steak with some extra liquid to keep it from going dry.

I think if you wanted to do a Doritos steak, the way to do it would be to crush the Doritos thoroughly and then fry it like a katsu cutlet, using the Doritos in place of panko flakes.
