The Tri-nations now known as the rugby championship has been going for 17 years. The mighty All Blacks have won 11 of those titles (including the latest with a game to spare). S.A have won three the same amount as the Wobblies. So enlighten me as to your definition of 'dominate.' So yeah as a New Zealander I don't feel embarrassed :-)

@mchachaabl there is a story behind this. But 'triple star' pretty much means to the the 3 main Islands that make up nz. The North Island, South Island and the 3rd-Stewart Island.
The first part of the song is a prayer, so it tends to sound gentle, then it kinda just kicks into 5th gear with the patriotic stuff when it gets to the afrikaans and english part, thats why the volume increases.
I'm from South Korea I swear You are 100% not a North Korean ^_^ Internet is disabled in North Korea .... I think that many foreigners are confusing South Korea and North Korea South Korea is democracy country and has 13th biggest economy in the world.. they have high level technology and companies(for example Samsung, LG) But North Korea is just communism and poor ... Anyway greatest anthem in the world.respect
Im born in SA and i have to say The first part of the ( Ek kots ek's siek dan le ek in Afrika ) is a bit cheap! but the middle to the end of the SA anthem is nice .The winner however is the NEW ZEALAND anthem and i have to say it is outstandingly Brilliant!
If I were a New Zealander I would be embarrassed right now, not only because South Africa has a better national anthem but also because the Springboks dominate the weird hukka doing allblacks, I mean it just wastes time, its not a dancing stage. HA. boo new zealand, in every aspect south africa beats you
Isn't it funny how both these countries support gay marriage and yet they sing, God bless our nation. Beautiful anthems, don't think God is going to bless a rebellious nation though.
