When in SA in 2014 our tour guide told us it was coming up, We will be stopping to witness some jumps and we need three volunteers! Despite knowing he was joking, I approached him and said if the rest of the bus doesn't mind a slight delay on our next hotel arrival, That I would do this! The rest of the bus much older than myself was quite pleased to see me do it!

Yep, as a South African I know the Bloukrans River bridge very well, but it is also known as the suicide bridge because of the many many suicides since it opening. Some victims are only found after someone stumbled on their corpses or bare bones weeks or months later. Cameras and a suicide phone was placed on the bridge many years later, but it does not deter any of the people who jumps to their death, while the camera is watching.

Saw some guy from Sparta doing this. But dude forgot his gear. he nearly drowned. some lady called Athena had to rope him out the water.

Hi Tomaz, great film mate, I also did the bungee in 2012 and it was epic, that bridge walk is worse than the jump 😅 I am heading back there in Feb 2023 and am compiling a short film to entice some friends top join, my video from 2012 is terrible and I wanted to ask if you minded me using some of your drone shots in my video.
