“This is the last step in the destruction of Gaza and its Palestinian people.”
South Africa’s lawyer, Vaughan Lowe, urged the International Court of Justice (ICJ) on Thursday to “reassert its authority” and protect Palestinians from genocide. Lowe highlighted how the court had issued previous orders in January and March against Israel to protect Palestinians against genocide, but that since then Israel has proceeded with attacks on Rafah.

It's ridiculous. If any court of any country can be specific about its ruling on violent crimes, why can't the ICJ do the same? Why the ambiguity when it comes to gen-cide?

Who enforces the courts decisions ? ,it seems to me the court findings are irrelevant if they have no people or power to enforce the ruling , if i had to guess id say usually the powers in the west would play this role but they just shrug off any decisions made by the court when it involves there partner or allies ,

@@jimcobain4381 Most likely scenario is that Israel kills the Israeli hostages by starvation if the carpet bombing doesn't get them first. The hostages are effectively Palestinians now. But enough about hostages, do you think Zionism will survive the ongoing genocide?It appears the world is losing its tolerance for ethno-states. And the 2 state solution is being abandoned in favour of one secular state - one person, one vote. (I was recently shocked to find that even Jews are not equal in Israel. See: marriage laws.
