Nelson Mandela did not do much for people who looked like him. He did not change the name of locations named after their oppressors. He did not take back any of the stolen lands. He supported and promoted rugby (the SA team had no African men), but not football which the Africans played. He did not ensure the plight of people that looked like him was improved. Now 30+ years after the ANC have been in power, Africans are still mistreated by their oppressors. It has got to be a time for change!
Nelson Mandela may not have fought for what you mentioned , I agree, but he brought attention to apartheid in South Africa and was able to make some changes, he suffered tremendously for the cause, he and his family was under a lot of duress.
So you really think in your small mind that if Mandela did all you state, SA would have been better off now? You are delusional as you can’t change the mentality and attitude of the citizens. I’m assuming you would have preferred a civil war🙄
I really don't know how you can put the blame on Nelson Mandela after he put the whole country out of apartheid which took him many years to achieve might I add, if its anyone to blame, blame the presidents that came after him all they do is worship the white people of South Africa. Nelson Mandela did what he was supposed to do might I also add that he got rid of apartheid at the age of 75 the people after him was suppose to keep up his work but instead they chose to benefit from it and that's why white people get away with doing this.

Both them, and the British have done wrong things. According to records, 28,000 black Africans died in concentration camps, around 1899-1902, alongside these guys, that British made for everyone they could find in South Africa.. going after gold and other resources. Someone can correct me, but they've never apologized, neither paid reparations. So both are at fault with the colonizing spree. One just has a better public relations campaign and is more sneaky.
The irony is that if that Nigerian death sentence becomes a law, South African constitution & laws will not allow for an extradition of a person wanted in Nigeria for drug related crimes, even if (s)he is a Nigerian citizen.

This is not the first time I've heard about people discriminating against Blacks. One was a Chinese another was a White tell Black Americans that they don't belong in South Africa. In South Africa it's a group of people that were born from intermarriages and community descended from Malay/Indonesian/Filipino people who were brought as slaves. Khoi and San maybe are in this community too, I'm not sure. The community has their own culture, or any they choose from their family. One of the most genetically diverse groups.

Maybe not the best statement to make. I wanna say concerning bigotry I find it interesting in the video Zack Mwekassa did concerning blacks having trouble dating outside their race. He says black people in Ethiopia and other Africans not valuing themselves prevents them from dating outside their race. I mean Haitians according to Professor Henry Louis Gates, Jr. are proud of their blackness. Despite this don't people don't say I'll date Haitians and people don't. If more Africans value themselves according to Zack people would start to date Haitians and other Africans.
