Shoots MBT in the back, projectile goes straight through the engine and continues all the way out of the front of the tank. Shoots LAV in the side, projectile absorbed by engine and fuel tank.

If its hard for you to get used to parallax in sims, use binoculars and commander view to shoot on small distance. Also download a pack of custom scopes for sims. They also really help because they show parallax and most of them have rangefinders(scales of what is 2.5m(regular tank height) on each distance)

Yeah, this isn’t world of tanks. It’s stupid how planes are visible from 10 km away as the exact same size dot until it’s like 2 km then it magically becomes a plane silhouette, but tonks just can be invisible behind a tiny bush. It’s especially bad when you’re playing cas at top tier, as the SPAA can see you coming the whole way while they might not even render in until you’re right on top of them.
Well the gun sights in Sim mode are where the optics are irl, and the optics are meant for much longer ranges than the average War Thunder match, where being slightly above and to the side of the actual gun won't be an impedement.
In South Africa we have many ways to say Good Morning as there are many various languages,but i can say as an Afrikaans speaking person we say "Goeie More" using the "G" in a scraping sound fashion. Almost imitating a radio with bad signal

Unfortunately, everybody is probably going to mispronounce "goeie more" unless they're Afrikaans or Dutch. XD For those wondering, you pronounce the "G" like it's TV static (or you're trying to mimic the alien sounds from Predator). It's why everybody gets Van Gogh's name wrong. :P

Seriously the placement of sights and sight designs gives one a whole new appreciation of vehicle design. I really want Gaijin to make it standard in RB too. This guy had exactly the same problem as me! I smashed my keyboard when my leopard 1 got killed by a helli, and my windows key randomly stoped working. Was afraid i destroyed my keyboard, but it randomly started working again after a reboot🤔
