Liquor may be readily consumed in lead crystal, but keep in mind that it shouldn't be stored in a lead crystal decanter, as the lead can leach into the liquor after a while. Overnight is the maximum amount of time that liquor should be stored in a lead crystal decanter. You got some beautiful things. Congratulations!

You can never go wrong with Waterford. Lismore is the oldest pattern there is that is still in production. That decanter alone is over $500 new.

My, my dear fellow Dutchman, you truly know how to pick your tastefull finds everywhere. Congratulations, fabulous!

Hearing the words "hock wine glass" out of the mouth of a Dutchman brought back happy memories of traveling to the Netherlands when I was about 6 years old, on KLM. It was my first time to fly. We visited what was then West Germany and tasted some sweet wine, probably a hock. Enjoyed seeing your appreciation of the beautiful crystal and the South African fortified wine. I recently purchased an inexpensive bottle of Amontillado, like the Poe story. It's my understanding that sherry parties used to be popular in the U.S. during the 1960's. Congrats on scoring that deal! Love your short videos.

Waterford Crystal. That's where I'm from, my home town. Be careful washing them. Luke warm water only because if it's too hot they will shatter.
