Liquor may be readily consumed in lead crystal, but keep in mind that it shouldn't be stored in a lead crystal decanter, as the lead can leach into the liquor after a while. Overnight is the maximum amount of time that liquor should be stored in a lead crystal decanter. You got some beautiful things. Congratulations!
Thank you, Phillip, for expressing the thought that we are only stewards of beautiful things. They come to us to use and treasure, and then we pass them safely along. This is the only reason anything survives of the past. I’m glad the throwaway culture is having a thoughtful reckoning.
How does one as young gain so much knowledge? You and Stef are such Renaissance souls! I learn something new everytime I enjoy myself with your videos!
Well done Phillip, thank you, and congratulations on such a great Waterford find. It was so great to see Isabelle, Percy and Gerald! Hope to see you all back at Lalonde soon ❤️
Hope you're having a marvellous time and that Isabelle, Percy and Gerry are all well! (So nice to see them again!) Take good care of each other and make time for relaxation. Lots of hugs and love to you all! ❤❤🤗🤗

You did Great on your Thrift Store shopping You found the Good stuff. I know this is an older video, I am getting caught up. Philip, I know you have Stephanie, but WOW you are an Amazing young Gentleman. I will admire from A long distance. Your new fan, and Friend from America Jerald- please when you see this, consider making Videos for us Fellas in America🙂❤️👍
As soon as I see Mummy in that swing.... A tear started.... I mean I just drove a nail through my toenail and it made my tears eject from my eyes to escape the pain.
I'm the South African girl who met you and Stephanie at the shops. I was so surprised to see you both and so excited and happy I just had to say hi 😂 Both of you are the real deal and were so kind and sweet to me. Thank you for the lovely meeting and hope you enjoy your trip 😁
I enjoy your aesthetic Phillip. I would love to see more videos of you shopping in brocantes, flea markets, and thrift stores! I loved the video of Stephanie's where you chose your desk and the beautiful green patterned chair.
Hearing the words "hock wine glass" out of the mouth of a Dutchman brought back happy memories of traveling to the Netherlands when I was about 6 years old, on KLM. It was my first time to fly. We visited what was then West Germany and tasted some sweet wine, probably a hock. Enjoyed seeing your appreciation of the beautiful crystal and the South African fortified wine. I recently purchased an inexpensive bottle of Amontillado, like the Poe story. It's my understanding that sherry parties used to be popular in the U.S. during the 1960's. Congrats on scoring that deal! Love your short videos.
What a nice surprise, so happy to see the family together and looking well. Phillip, I have admired the way you dress and use good manners since the first time I saw you. I am trying to encourage people to use their very best all the time, live the life you dream of even if there may be a few chips in the tea cups. You work on your side of the pond and I will work on mine. It was a lovely video.
Hello Philip and mummy swinging in chair. How lovely to see you Philip making a video with very interesting content; wonderful crystal finds, well done. I am very happy you are having a wonderful holiday with Stephanie, mummy and dapper Percy. Xxxx
I also have a fondness for nice table settings, but unfortunately do not have the room or a fun crowd to serve with them. I will continue to live vicariously through you for now. Cheers Philip!🥂
Great video Philip❣️. Lovely to see Isabelle, Percy & Gerry💞. Isabelle has a spectacular home❣️. No need for a holiday living in luxury on the beach❤️👏👏
Phillip you totally are more confident and comfortable in this video .. could it be the beautiful and energetic environment of South Africa .?..the room , light and color you filmed this was the utmost best …. definitely a different vibe there in South Africa … safe travels home .. keep healthy .please thank mummy for being a wonderful host for this video …….love from sunny Florida USA☀️🌻❤️

Excellent vlog Philip . I was very pleased with the info about the ship decanter. I've had one in my drinks cabinet for years (20odd) but now Im going to get it out and oxygenated my next bottle of red wine.Which is what I've learnt here....Following your instructions of course. 🍷

Great finds, Philip! I think the great thing about using special things like these is that it helps us stop and enjoy the moment more. You and Stephanie are a great inspiration, I need to use nice things more often 😊😘❤
Hi Phillip, I’m enjoying your channel. I’m also a RU-vidr and one question we are always wondering…what do our subscribers want? Well, I LOVE when you share your knowledge on antiques. Between you and Stephanie, you have so much knowledge. So, please share your knowledge with us. Much love~Nancy
how can someone not like this video you are nice polite smart and show us his thrift shopping and then show and explainse us the use for it i love your styl you are just my type cup of tea stephanie is very lucky to have found you.
So glad everyone is there!!! You always find the nicest things. Your glass sets are gorgeous. Thank you for the explaining what and how they were used. What a beautiful place to have a holiday.
Philip! You look so well and considerably warmer than you did at Lalande. Shopping, real or virtual is always welcome so thank you for the diversion. I take it Stephanie is behind the camera, do we now have to be sending her stuffed woodland creatures as well? That stuff goes with the job, right? (psssst. The music playing while you were speaking made it difficult to catch all your words 😘)
Philip PLEASE! don't apologise for everything! Its not necessary. Stephs videos started out raw & basic as does any channel. I like it natural and real. Just happy you are sharing.. Hope you have a happy time xo
Wow Philip! Now you REALLY tasted a bit of South Africa! I LOVE that Sherry and please do bring the Sherry drinking culture back! Enjoy our country!❤️🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
@@philipjanssen you should also come to Cape Town on your next trip - I have a private guest cottage close to all attractions and it would be such an honour and pleasure to host you and Stephanie. Keep it in mind for future- it will be my gift to you for all the hope and love you two give. ❤️
Are you surviving the humidity!!! Great to see Gerry is here too, Old Brown Sherry, you need to try a Witblitz 🤣 and next video add 'Jerusalema' tune, how about we see you all doing the dance!!! 🇿🇦❣🌈
