From the moment we arrived in Peshawar, my eyes have been glued out the window and my heart has been beating fast. I am in love with this place.
Peshawar is an ancient city in North West Pakistan -- almost on the border with Afghanistan -- that has a recorded history dating back to 539 BCE.
The culture of Peshawar is unique to anywhere else in Pakistan (and the world for that matter). The way that people dress is different. The cuisine is different. The buildings are different.
They get such little tourism that the people are extremely curious and welcoming.
Peshawar is my kind of place, and I can't wait to show you more of this city over the coming days :)

@@PerthBoy69 There are ethnic kashmiris in Pakistan but very less in numbers compared to the Kashmir Valley (IOK), most of ethnic Kashmiris live in Northern AJK in neelum Valley. But many also moved to big cties like Lahore.

not really common hardly I have seen people with red hair and blue eyes even in KPK but you can still find people with these features as i said its rare but in my own family 3,to 4 people have blue eyes and 9 to 10 have gree eyes but what difference does it make "i mean yea its great to have blue eyes and red hair as it will make you look like European that we aren't as we want to prove ourselves as white. it's better to accept who youre rather than comparing yourselves with someone else and there is a misconception that people of northern region are only good looking pakistanis but i think people from whole of pakistan are very kind generous and good looking.

I am originally from Afghanistan, my family migrated to Peshawar, i was born and grownup in Peshawar and now living in Stockholm, man i love this city it has special place in my heart, people are so nice we never felt like we were living in other country, they treated as like their own people and actually we are same, we have same culture, we speak same language, have same religion and once we were one country, I a so glad you got chance to experience hospitality of Pakhtoon people, i wish you could other beautiful cities of KPK as well, man you look like real pakhtoon, many pashtoons has red or blond hair and green or blue eyes, sending lots of love to my Pashtoon brothers and sisters, will visit soon InshaAllah...

With all due respect to Peshawar, India has 6 older cities than Peshawar. Varanasi of India is around 5000+ years old. Mark Twain's very famous quote about Varanasi is 'Benares is older than history, older than tradition, older even than legend, and looks twice as old as all of them put together.'

Kite runner was mainly set in Kabul, Afghanistan but Peshawar is quite similar as they both have large Pashtun, Afghan populations. In the movie, they filmed in Kashgar in Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Province.

Only thing that is sad is how politics has destroyed the lives of the people there. And muslims are not oppressed everywhere in India bro. I have several muslim friends who are lovely human beings. About your second remark, according to history there are 10 lost tribes of Israel out of 12 during the time of Kingdom of Israel. The remaining two are now called Jewish. So out of 10 lost tribes it may be possible that White people are connected with one of the 10. However about the white people, mostly it is said that they are descendants of Pharaoh. As there is many similarities between Pharaoh and the Queen's ancestry. And as you know UK had invaded nearly whole of the world. So most of the white people has link with the Queen. Besides Native Americans where not white mind you. Australia was also colony of Britishers. One example is Maori people who are nearly extinct were the original inhibitors of New Zealand.
