@LadieKatie Easy to prove that people of color were treated different just because of the color of their skin. It is reality. They could not eat with white folk, they could not sit with white folk, sht they could not even drink out of the same drinking fountain as white folk because of fear of black germs. Hiding them in your basement under lock and key is not changing our history.

What in the book is untruthful?

Sounds like her version of history boils down to “white people bad.”

That book isn't an accurate history and she is an English Comp teacher not a history teacher. She should be fired.

He has said he wanted to date his own 16 year old daughter and has repeatedly said he has the right to sexually assault women. Saying any Republican cares about children is insane. Have a question for you. Out of the millions of boys molested in the Catholic church over the years- How many of the parents do you think were Democrats ?

Nothing wrong with that book, it is well written. Ta- Nehesi Coates is an excellent writer, I am a 70 year old white woman and I thought it was an incredible read with many life lessons for all to understand.
