Back in the day, living in Southeast Los Santos, you had to stay on your guard. I remember when I was kicking it with my cousin at his house in Glen Park and a car full of Temple Drive Families came through shooting with Tec-9’s. Three of our friends got killed and it kicked off a gang war. Then CJ from Grove Street pulled up in a sedan and hopped out with an AK-47 and started shooting. By the time the smoke cleared, the hood was Grove Street Families’ territory. Me and my cousin survived but it taught us a real lesson about the streets of Los Santos back then. You have to try to live your best life and stay away from *that* side of the fence. My family moved and I went to college at Harvard and got my Law degree and have a wife and three kids. Every now and then I go back to the neighborhood to reflect on how far I made it but it’s still Families’ turf. They don’t mess with me but if you stay around long enough you can still hear members clowning CJ about his haircut.
last week I was waiting for my family at a Service Area on the NJTP going up to my cousins for Christmas, and I connected my phone to the radio, and this is one of the songs I put on and turned it up so loud with the windows down 😅, while I was waiting for them, even though It was a bit cold out, and this women stared at me in the car next to me haha
