Scope and Content: On NYA machine shop activities. Reel 1, youths receive physical examinations: take occupational tests: use woodworking and machine tools: weld with acetylene torches; and are instructed in drafting. Shows library, medical, and gymnasium facilities. Reel 2, boys learn the Morse Code, machine airplanes parts, attend and aerodynamics class, and completely construct army cots (shaping the metal, welding, riveting, and painting).
