Anthony Arillotta's criminal history dates back to his early years with incidents such as assaulting a man with a sawhorse outside a Worthington Street bar in 1989, for which he was ordered to pay restitution. He was also involved in a 1993 home invasion in Springfield, although charges against him were later dropped.
In the 1990s, Arillotta faced a drug case that strained his relationship with higher-ups, temporarily excluding him from their circles. As he became more integral to Springfield's criminal activities, his legal troubles escalated. In the early 2000s, he was simultaneously prosecuted in state and federal courts for loan-sharking and gambling offenses, resulting in a prison term of approximately 3 1/2 years. These cases marked his rise within the Genovese Crime Family's "Springfield Crew."
Arillotta faced further legal challenges, including an extortion case in 2008 where he, along with associates Freddy and Ty Geas, were acquitted despite incriminating recordings. His trajectory took a dramatic turn when he was arrested in 2010 in connection with the killing of Bruno. Subsequently, he cooperated with federal investigators, providing crucial testimony against his co-conspirators.
During trials in U.S. District Court in Manhattan, Arillotta openly admitted to a life of crime, including drug trafficking, firearms offenses, and multiple murders. He pled guilty to various charges, receiving a 99-month prison sentence in exchange for his cooperation, particularly in the cases involving Bruno and Gary Westerman.
Anthony has now reformed his life and has devoted his life to being a better man and giving back to society. He takes good care of his health and is a man of God, trying to make this world a better place.

Yes growing up in Springfield MA in the 60's and 70s.. The south end was mainly Italian.. north ended was primarily Hispanics. The hill was primarily blacks.. and the side hungry hill was primarily Irish.. BUT there was exceptions to every neighborhoods... in general everybody new the rules and boundaries.. for the most part we all got along. I personally went where ever i wanted and never had any problems.. in general if you give respect and pay.. your respect to where you are most of the time.. it was allowed..

There’s no honor in spending the rest of your life in prison. Ask Freddy Geas how noble his life has been the last few years. He spends 23.5 hours a day locked in isolation. That’s not honorable. That’s hell.

@BostonFriend-gl2rj Bruno talked with an fbi agent I obviously can't speak for him but I think he thought he was feeling out a possible source but the fbi agent wrote a 302 about thier interaction and during the conversation he told the fbi agent a specific person was a made member and that information got that guy extra time in prison so the order came from the top without any influence or input from Anthony and he was only brought in the plot because the person originally given the hit wasnt capable and didn't have guys like Ant did
