Sometimes i ask myself do fish sense cold waters that they tend to keep away from and as the weather changes they begin to migrate as the water temperature rises to their satisfaction. We have had milder winters where fish have arrived sooner than normal to spawn as the waters begin to rise in temperature and certain fish like the cooler water and others the warmer water. Our weather climate weather has changed drastically in the last 30 years. We have certainly seen fish that never have been seen in the Northeast that are more of a Southern parts of the states. In the past May into June were fishing seasons now it's February into March and i feel this has a lot to do with global warming which keeps many species of fish hanging around rather than travel to their warmer waters. Am i crazy by saying this or is this what it is now?
