An excellent video on how to make beautiful, spicy, healthy, and tasty Potato Fry (a great side dish) at home. Very interesting, informative, creative, and easy to follow. Thanks for sharing.
I saw recipe and within 2 seconds I said “perfect” .why ? Because your mustard has puffed properly . Till mustard crackers , patience is must. U did it perfectly 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
Totally agree. These days I see many don't wait for mustard to 'pop'.. I was taught from young that mustard must pop in hot oil before u add anything else👌👌👌👍👍Lovely recipe👌👌🎁🎁
Creating South Indian Wedding Style Potato Varuval(fry) in a quick and easy manner is a culinary feat! Your recipe promises to capture the essence of this traditional dish with its aromatic spices and perfectly fried potatoes. Thank you for sharing this delightful recipe that brings the flavors of South Indian weddings to our home kitchens!
@@ommaleiman2805 nothing wrong with garam Masala. It just enhances the flavour. Without it, the dish is simpler but just as tasty. It all depends on what your taste buds are used to, or have developed a taste for. Have fun. Everything in moderation, soon you will come up with something of your own style.
Turned out so well! I always make potatoes plain without tomato or even onion. And husband hates them 🤣 Wanted to try wedding style and this tasted so yummy.
Easy peazy … delicious… not sure whether you should have first crackled the curry leaves in the hot oil.. never eaten ‘uncooked ‘ curry leaves … the ghrum masala probably not necessary as this would be great with paratha
Hi there, initially I was about to skip this vedio, it is the simple potato varuval, common, were my thoughts but THE BACKGROUND MUSIC "A FINE SELECTION" made me listen to the end. To my surprise the preparation too is bit different from "simple common potato fry" GOOD LET ME TRY. THANKS AGAIN.

Tomorrow breakfast I will try it for lemon rice.. I will comment you madam if come really tasty and good.... Super delicious potatoes masala... From karnataka
Yes friend, we need to add water, not much but little. The spices need to get into the potatoes.Adding water speeds up this process. Moreover, there is always a risk of the masala getting burnt. Thankyou. Please keep supporting.
Thank you for your feedback. In our region ,we do add onion and garlic in our food. Moreover, most of the weddings have cutlets, onion pakoras, veg kebabs as starters nowadays.
