Motorcycle ride on BMW GS1250 Adventure through south Italy. Ater crossing of the Adriatic Sea route starts at Bari and then goes through parts of Apulia to spectacular city Matera and then straight through Calabria's Cosenza to Italian gem on Tyrrhenian Sea, Tropea.
Sicilian part stars at Messina and goes around the north shore through Cefalu towards Erice and Trapani with a stop at Temple of Segesta.
Through Saline of Marsala road leads to Ragusa, Modica and Agrigento with some spectacular ruins at Valle Dei Templi and beautiful views of Scala Dei Turchi. Syracuse, Taormina with teatro Greco and one of the world's most active volcanoes, Etna round Sicilian part of the trip.
Through Maratea, back on the mainland, waits one of the most iconic rides - Costiera Amalfitana. Road from Salerno to Sorrento through Amalfi, Positano and several other small municipalities with its dramatic topography is just spectacular. At the end of Amalfi coast ride road leads further north to Pompei with a stop to one of the most vivid and lively cities in Italy, Naples.
