Taking a trip this weekend down to Venice. Got any advice for a new guy hunting Venice? not new to hunting though. I’m looking to go straight across the jump on east side. Much appreciated it!
Hopefully more birds showed up, last weekend we shot 3 ducks first morning and smoked redfish rest of the time, they have all done stacked up on the refuge. If you watch my video “so I started blasting” that evening hunt is across the jump, was mostly ringnecks, few teal, couple pintails and greys. Ran it last weekend and only saw a few birds. Most duck hunters started fishing which is good right now. Not sure if u ever hunted Venice but tread lightly and be aware of the tide or you will be sleeping out there, stay clear of the ships some throw a 5’ wave. Good luck man and be safe
Ok thanks yeah we’re bringing poles for sure staying at the Venice inn. Do know anything about hunting southwest of the jump where tiger pass is located in that general area.
almost all of Tiger and Grand Pass is private and they will hit you for trespassing, some of Wagon Wheel is public, most of Babtiste is public and of course u can hunt the WMA down river or The Delta Duck down Main Pass but there are rules you need to know about those also@@joshuarogers2717
