South Metro Barn Fire 

At 5:42 p.m. on Thursday August 10, 2017, South Metro Firefighters responded to a barn fire on King Court in Parker (near Hess & Motsenbocker) . Numerous callers reported the incident to 911 and the structure was fully engulfed with flames before firefighters arrived. Video captured from Salisbury Park shows the arrival of Engine and Tender 46 and the initial fire attack using a master stream. Engine 46 carries 1,000 gallons of water and Tender 46 carries 3,000 gallons, much needed in an area with no hydrants available. No injuries occurred and the cause is being investigated.
