@@fredocarroll it isnt really cruel when the person theyre laughing at is eric cartman and abusive boyfriend for heidi and so much more, with anyone else it would definitely be cruel.
Like in the end of the Awesom-o 3000 episode where Butters shows the video he filmed of Cartman dressed as Britney Spears dancing with a cardboard cutout of Justin Timberlake to everyone. That was great.
@@DragonBlack199 In Highschool I was only called by my last name. It was kinda like a title, since my name ends with -man as well. It's like Venkman, Cartman... it's always cooler to use the last name with those.
I mean in the real world that would be fucked up to make fun of something talking about suicide, but in the world of South Park i Think everybody would do what Stan did
The jumpcut from Stan going "Totally" dead serious to him sharing the voicemail with the other kids cracked me up so much first time I saw it 😭 comedic gold
The fact that Cartman blatantly lied about an incredibly serious thing that someone shouldn’t joke about and got called out on it with proof but then tried to spin it around to make himself the victim again is classic Cartman. He’ll never change.
They all know Cartman's too self absorb to kill himself. He will go to the edge of the roof and make a big spectacle out of it, but if someone were to say "Do it" (And you know someone will in this show) he'll chicken out.
@@Max-fb5bm yeah but cartman wasn’t actually trying to kill himself he actually thought he would be able to fly. Kyle said it because he’d knew he get hurt not because he thought he didn’t have the guts.
i also feel like cartmas too stubborn to not let himself be proven wrong to the point where he'd actually make an attempt (kinda like when he got boob surgery because his mom didnt talk him out of it primarily cuz she didnt believe him and he didnt want to look dumb by backing out)
Dude, i litearly never thought about it that way but you're right. Tweek and Craig and Cartman and Heidi are so different. Tweek and Craig are the best child couple in the show and the healthiest, while Cartman and Heidi are the worst. I just feel bad fore Heidi because she's so nice.
@@transmasc6134 Healthiest? They're pretty much forced into a relationship with that yaoi episode! That's pretty much how Stockholm Syndrome works, not very healthy!
Two things: Kenny has to pack his own lunch because he just can't afford to buy lunch and if he does have enough to afford it he'll either will get the cheapest stuff or not eat anything from the menu :( , and Butters has a peice of *square* pizza.
Please keep in mind that they're laughing because Cartman is a manipulative shit and they know he would never kill himself. They know he was just lying to her. So this reaction is deserved. Cartman used suicide as a method of manipulation. He deserves to be ridiculed. Suicide is a serious issue, not to be used to manipulate people. I would laugh at Cartman also.
I think the lying about suicide part barely even did something to them, they're just laughing because of how desperate and at wit's end cartman was during the voicemail 😂
“He’s your boyfriend dude” “He’s not gonna listen to me, he never does when he’s emotional” He literally tries listening to you when he’s emotional and let’s you try to help resolve it. I mean, key point is he tries listening when he’s being supportive 💛💙
@@cookingstar-to6hr They're not making fun of suicide, they're making fun of Cartman. Cartman would never commit suicide, he's way too much of a narcissist to do so. He's using the excuse of suicide to manipulate his girlfriend into staying with him.
I love the honesty and support that the guys (even Cartman) give Craig about him being in a relationship with Tweak. Really shows how the Boys will always be there no matter how much they shit on you. Man, I miss the Boys back in the good ole’ days
I find it hilarious that they put cartman threatening suicide if heidi leaves him. Trey parker and matt stone have done such an amazing job outlining cartmans character as narcissistic sociopath lol.
OMG when she says she'll send Stan the voicemail and you think Stan wants it because he's concerned and then it cuts to them laughing at it in the bathroom X'DDD
To be fair you can see it coming a mile away, especially after Cartman was complaining about how "overbearing" his girlfriend was. Probably Stan wouldn't have done if had he not known that Cartman is probably the least likely person on South Park to take his own life.
Glad you’re feeling better. I broke up with my boyfriend because he has too many health problems and it felt like I was babying him. Plus I like girls now.
takes me back to my high school lunch table.. our friend who sat at our table poured his heart out to a girl over text, then she screenshotted it, sent it to our other friend who also sits with us.. & he would read his message out loud for everyone at the table to hear
The hypocrisy of Cartman talkin about listening to private voicemails when he was the one who told the guys about the voice call of the little boy who pooped his pants & the nurse told his mom he needed a new pair of pants
If it were anyone but Cartman, I'd feel like Stan was being a jerk here. But it's Cartman, so it's simply impossible for me to feel any bit of sympathy for him.
@@XxOnyxStudiosxX Yea but- he was like "I don't understand.." and then he said he'd support it anyways cuz why not- but still- he wasn't really comfortable with it-
The sad part is that more and more abusers in real life are catching onto the this tactic and using it on anyone from their long-time, broken victims to that girl who's picture they saw, immediately wanted in her pants and were told 'no'. All from this mistaken belief that the loss of such a little leech would be anything but a positive thing to begin with. The correct thing would be to dare them to do it, right then and there. People who are actually suicidal aren't going to say it, let alone in such an obvious power play; that's why red flags are a thing.
