Season 8 is definitely my favourite. Every episode is peak South Park, and the show hasn’t reached those highs since. Season 9 onwards are definitely brilliant and one of my all time favourite shows, but never as good as season 8. Season 3, 5, 6, 7, 9, 11, 14 and 16 are some other great seasons as well.
Season 8 is also my favourite and in season 9 I like the death of Eric Cartman because it has a series 8 feel about it I don't know why I feel that way just something about it seems season 8
I think that the seasons 8-15 are the best, the ones before 8 isn't that good because it isn't really that satirical and the ones after 15 are too political.

They released a South Park collection A few years ago with 5 seasons in one small box and it has 15 discs in one I hope they make one for seasons 16-20 when it is released

Honestly, Season 21 onwards is a lot better than 20 and they managed to move on from the fully serialised format, and go back to the boys. Definitely a great show again, but not as great as their earlier efforts.

I'd have to agree with you on season 20. It was just "okay". Not the best by a long shot. I think it had a good story arc from the beginning, the member-berries were hilarious and I loved the trolling storyline with the stereotyped Danish people. It flopped for sure though with Trump winning the election throwing things off slightly. The finale seemed rushed also with the quick conclusions. I think a cliff hanger leading into season 21 would have been more satisfying. Thank you for the kind words! :)
I was just watching this video because I want the collection which I shall be getting. The DVDs look way better, and more pleasing to look at. But I think I should buy the blu-rays.
Could I just ask this. On the episode “scuzzlebutt”, when Stan says “let me do it, uncle jimbo” it’s cut off until the “Bo” part of jimbo. Does this happen in your disc? Also my season 5 disc, when cartman says “red rocket” his lips are moving but he’s not saying it. The dog is still panting so the audio isn’t cut off
Season fourteen has a missing episode, episode 200,201 which is a banned episode for which cartman’s dad is revealed(Mohammed speculation). It is however available in region 1which is before episode crippled summer.
Great vid. Just starting to collect South Park - I have seasons 2, 4, 5, 9, 14, and 16 right now. For some unknown reason, I can't find the rest of the seasons ANYWHERE. Especially seasons 7 and 18. Just find the rerelease in the slim case, never the box set.
I have read some Amazon reviews on Season 7 saying their is a read error on disc 2 which effects the episode Christian Rock Hard (one of my favourite episodes), I am just wondering have you faced any issues with the season 7 set (or any of the others) since I am considering buying the South Park seasons at some point. (I am aware I will have to import season 14 since 200 and 201 are not on the UK set for some reason).
@@dvdreviewsstudios I don't think that has been scientifically proven yet I mean the original release I hope if it gets a UK release Paramount distributes it I mean when it originally came out I dislike it in my opinion because it ruins the variation of the Paramount logo from the US version I think the Paramount version is better because 1. this film is the first film to use the enhanced version of one of their logo 2. like the Indiana Jones films the logo crossfades to a mountain at the beginning of the film 3. It technically by the same studio as Beavis and Butthead Do America and the Jackass films. Warner Bros wasn't involved with Team America: World Police. Beavis and Butthead Do America another film based off an Adult-oriented cartoon series was released by Geffen Pictures who's films were distributed by Warner Bros they were originally involved with the film before Viacom brought Paramount in 1994 Warner distributed anything by Geffen Pictures but they were still involved after Paramount took Warner's place of distributing the film and if they didn't need to distribute that film than they shouldn't have distribute this film
I would get these DVDs but I might get the US DVD of the movie Bigger, Longer and Uncut because of the distributor it annoys me that Warner Bros distributed the film in the UK instead of Paramount because I like the gag at the beginning where the Paramount logo crossfades to the south Park mountain and it would coincide with the show better because the DVDs of the series you've got are distributed by Paramount and Paramount has done tons of films and shows the show's style and humor coincides with such as Beavis and Butthead and Jackass and it would also coincide with Team America: World Police since that film was distributed by Paramount worldwide there is a DVD combo that probably because of Warner Bros has only been released in the US
It doesn't work that way because 5 episodes isn't available on HBO and it isn't like that it doesn't matter, it does matter because those 5 are one of the best ones in the show and are only on DVD.
I'm up to date as of now. I just think the whole show has gone down hill since season 4. Too much 'drama' and talking. I scream "DO SOMETHING!" when I watch an episode, hahaha.
