One of the neat things about this series is a lot of the characters who showed up like Optimus, Voltron, Thundercats etc were well before the reboot movies/tv series came out, so the nostalgia kick was huge.
How do you beat Jesus? Well, since he has the power of resurrection, that makes him an immortal. That means you need another immortal, like Kenny, Mint-berry Crunch, or Cthulhu to defeat him.
You're going at it the wrong way, man! Yes he is immortal, as in he can respawn (maybe after 3 days, maybe immediately, there have been no clear indications about that); that aside, he doesn't seem to have any improved regeneration abilities. So, just focus on subduing him without killing him, then restrain him and keep him right on the edge between life and death. That's how you keep him out of the action! :D

This is one Cartman's biggest problems, he can't take the win when he has it. he has to milk it for all it worth. this how it ususally backfires on him. on the upside for Kyle at least he physically didn't have fulfill his end of the bet, so it worked out.
You know, these this RU-vid show called Death Battle. If we take them for their word, Popeye is actually pretty insanely powerful. Actually so are many cartoons like Bugs Bunny and such. When you think about cartoon reality and things cartoons go though, survive and do. While most of it is played up for comedy, when you actually take that stuff and assume a cartoon character can apply all their abilities to a fight. Then cartoons are like... really freaking OP. So in all honesty Popeye should probably be destroying the Woodland Critters, not getting killed by them. Just saying.
Just rewatched this epsidoe and rechecked this reaction to see if you got the references to LOTR The Two Towers? The beginning speech by Aslan is the same as Theodens with the camera shots as well as the castle they are in, exact replica of rivendell.
That can’t be because cartman was able to use his imagination and only creators can do that. Little plot hole there lol. Maybe butters imagined a way to revive them and it worked only because they were in imaginationland.
