I'm pretty much sure I've read a piece saying Snooki was super cool with the way she was portrayed and even tweeted something along the lines of "Snooki wants smoosh-smoosh."
Something I only noticed years later: When the boys are in the restaurant Stan and Kyle have milkshakes, Cartman has a full sundae, and Kenny only has water because it's all he can afford.
13:20 yes, yes she did. And oddly enough, she found it hilarious. Would've never figured her to be able to take a joke, especially such a grimy one, but she laughed it off like a champ
and honestly its provbably one of the most offensive depictions of anyone by the show, like- not alot of people would be able to laugh it off lol, I dont know if I'd be able to if it happened to me
The beauty of the show is that most of their pokes at celebrities are somehow not offensive to the actual person they're based on (unless we're talking about Tom Cruise)
the best part about this is that the jersey shore stars actually loved the episode and thought it was hilarious, especially snooki! i like knowing they've got a good sense of humor
I think one of the reasons the show was so successful is because they're all just genuinely nice people. Nothing awful has come out about any of them and they all seem to legitimately like each other.
It's funny that the Jersey Shore cast, especially Snookie, were actually great sports about how they were depicted in the show because they have a sense of humor. Others like Kanye West, Tom Cruise, Barbra Streisand and Mama June (who ironically called SP 'trashy') however got big mad about it.
Actually, Jersey Shore exploded into almost household recognition in New Jersey and New York Thanks to this episode.....and that was a diservice to Human Kind and any Extraterrestrial life out there that might be spying on us. I apologize on behalf of Earth to you guys up there (allegedly) and we promise more wars and mentally unstable politicians.

@@trentonwilley8650 He need to watch Tegridy Farms , The Pandemic Special & Vaccination Special first and then the Post Covid The Return Of Covid. the storyline is very important to enjoy the last special
@@mxxetal dude...even in the south park games his name was Token ! In the subtitles is always been Token lol That's a joke on inclusive language and political correctness. i'm a OLD fan of SP (S11E14 - The List) / (S15 E4 - T.M.I. ) in both episodes the teachers and the girls make a list of the boys' names. (S20 E1 - Member Berries) Cartmans wears a t-shirt that says Token lives matter all season He's name is TOKEN , for real Fans
Not only did Snooki Watch this but she LOVED it and now let’s Smoosh Smoosh 🤣🤣 I think she even had it as her pic on Twitter for a while😁That’s why she’s always been my favorite cus she’s just trying to have a good time an party& has a sense of humor about herself 👏🏼👏🏼
North Jersey (the fast-paced, NYC vibe, crowded, rude, super expensive half) and South Jersey (the slower, peaceful, quiet, "boring" half) could not be more different. North and South Jersey need to be two different states. They are almost NOTHING like each other.
@@beccas.7762 SoCal is really expensive. Bay Area/San Francisco is INSANELY expensive. Other than that they are very different, I agree. Totally different vibes and culture.
@@DominicNJ73 Yooo brother! I'm from SJ too. Sure its kind of "boring" and full of chain restaurants but I'll take this quiet slow place over expensive-ass North Jersey any day of the week. Plus I've never enjoyed NYC that much. Philly is fine. Go EAGLES, go Hurts!
The ending! 😂 I'm from New Jersey, and I live kind of close to the shore area, and you only get these stereotypes from North Jersey and Staten Island when they visit the Shore during the summer lol.
Bro I know I’m late but the table flipping after Stan’s mom said Teresa’s eyes are far apart is an actual spoof of the fight in the reality show New Jersey Housewives it was insane but South Park got it accurate. 😂
I live in Jersey. I’d say less than 10% of the population is like this…. I’d say it’s even less than 5%. At the Jersey shore during summer, though, that percentage jumps to maybe 20 or 30%, depending on which beach you visit.
The whole cast of Jersey shore watched it and they laughed it off like a champ especially Snooki, they're all like we made it to the parody show, cuz South Park Roast every celebrity or very famous important people cuz if you're not on there you're not important and there's some people that can take a joke and there's some people that can't like for example Jennifer Lopez she didn't take the pancake butt joke episode very well-liked she fired people for singing the taco song and she's harsh on that and I was like oh my God come on it's a joke
Snooki tweeted the following after watching the episode: "Snooki want smoosh smoosh. im going to have nightmares tonight lmao!!! we've officially made it. goodnite my bitches. (sic)""
Its kinda accurate… its not everyone from jersey of course, there are the select few that are like this, but they definitely stand out from the bunch. Overall people there are really nice. Also the snaps are exaggerated 😂 ive never heard muff cabbage tho lived there for 8 years
I feel like low-key if you were to go to down to the Jersey shore, then you would deathly see more people like this but I also feel like this is more common back in the 2000s like early 2000s you know I mean
There is an episode where Cartman spells "Jew" as "Joo". I carried that joke into work, because we had a sequence of purchase orders that began with J00, I pronounced it as Jew ... made my one colleague laugh. She also got into the habit. One day the boss asks for a PO number and she absentmindedly said the "Jew number is"... he did a double take at us.
I’m from jersey and some of that is pretty accurate in southern jersey… northern jersey is a lot more Italians i’ld say northern jersey is more accurate in the show the sopranos… us italians in northern jersey think the jersey shore people are a disgrace to the rest of us.. 😂😂 so yeah im from jersey grew up here and want nothing to do with the jersey shore crowd… 😂🇮🇹🇺🇸🤙🏻
Though all the craziness it does touch on the classic literary trope of "You can't escape your blood" where a character learns they have something inhuman in their family tree like an alien, a demon, a fish-monster, or something like that and gradually losing their humanity to their tainted bloodline, either committing suicide or becoming a monster in the end.
In real life when they took down Osama the radio call was "For God and Country...Geronimo is down...Geronimo is down!" Sent shivers down my spine when I first read it...still does.
In this episode we learn that Kyle's mother was Christian in the photo in the seventh minute) before meeting her father who converted her before marriage (because it is a condition for being able to marry).
I'm originally from new Jersey, some aspects of the way the act is pretty accurate. But don't take Jersey shore or any tv spoof of new Jersey as. The pure definition of what the people are like there. Just go down to Jersey see for yourself. We aren't all bad 😞
Born and raised in Passaic County (Exit 16W). Moved out when I was 24. Too many effin' Guidos! SP and the Jersey TV shows are of course, super-dramatized for ratings, but the basic guido and guidette personalities are well represented here.
