All I can explain about the Superbowl is that people freak out about the commercials because companies go all-out with their commercials. As they should, airtime for Superbowl ads is some of the most expensive time to buy. Some Superbowl commercials cost more to make than some mainstream movies.

This episode is taken from an old Adult Swim cartoon called "Moral Orel" s1e2 "God's Chef" dad tells son that masturbating is worse than murder and he'll go to hell. Dad says sperm is for making babies. Moral Orel is probably the most Fst up show ever. It didn't last long but it stained my brain forever. If you ever have the chance to watch this s1e2 "God Chef" you'll understand.

The superbowl is basically america’s World Cup. It’s the championship game for professional American Football. Because it has such high viewership, commercials are very lucrative and very expensive to show while it’s on, so companies will pull out all the stops to try and make especially entertaining commercials to air during the game.

The superbowl is usually the biggest sport event in America. They usually have huge halftime shows and unique commericals that are better than average commericals during normal sports events. Because so many people watch the Superbowl, the commercials are usually big deals (because it costs so much to have one during it) and sometimes are announcements for new things like movies.

i don't know you're culture but i can tell you never grew up with this kind of content on a regular basis. I started watching this show when i was young and i must say you're reactions are gold! The Super Bowl usually is not a very good game but the winner is the champion and it’s basically like an American cultural celebration they have a whole football festival for a week leading up to the game and there’s a huge concert at halftime usually one or multiple of the top artists in the world and then yeah the commercials are awesome, they give basically movie budgets for 30 second ads with major celebrities and they try to make them more entertaining than informative but it’s really just about getting together with your friends and having a good time

If you want to cite the history, at least get it right. Soccer was the abbreviation for accossiation football, compared to rugby football. Looking at the rest of Europe, you also see that football is the common name for the sport.
