@@danthecraftman I'm confused by that comment... Touch grass? Usually that's reserved for someone who is talking like a shut-in...But this guys is just acknowledging good writing choices, you want to immerse your audience into your story,
@@fictionalmediabully9830How were they sellouts, and what about season 2 makes them a sellout? EDIT: Also season 2... they literally trolled their entire fanbase by ending Season 1 on a cliffhanger about Cartman's dad, then had a completely unrelated Terrence and Phillip episode that literally triggered death threats from fans.
@@anubis7457 They did other stuff like "BASEketball", while different writers took over "South Park" for a while. "Terrence & Phillip: Not Without My Anus" is great, my favourite Season 2 episode, alongside "Gnomes".
I liked both games, I like how each game meant a different theme the kids played, I trust the south park team, they haven't given me one reason to not believe this Will also be a good game
@@zombifiedpariah7392 I don’t think it was a bad story but it started off basic with them shifting from wizards and stuff to superheroes and trying to find a cat then loads of plot twist happened that completely changed the plot with South Park elements threw in
Idk I feel like I'm the only one that didn't really like the fractured butthole, cool game and I liked it but it wasn't nearly as fun as the stick of truth.
@@TheeUnknown420Stick of Truth was really good, but I feel like it was the start of something bigger, which was FBW, because the changes were really significant both in the combat that was amazing and even relaxing to play and the exploration of the world is so more open
@@CanecoPooper i do agree the combat was better in FBW but I personally liked the open world more in SOT and I liked the storyline more in SOT but both storylines are great. And did you hear they making a new South Park game and it's gonna be called Snow Day. Hopefully this new game lives up to the hype like the last two.
As a huge fan of both The Stick Of Truth and TFBW, I really hope making it 3D wasn't a risky decision and that it doesnt effect the ratings of the game in the long run. All I can do is be hopeful. I hope theres more customization like in the two others before this one.
I'm a fan and I love South Park, but this new South Park game looks aesthetically awful, and not only that, the action figures and plush toys have a better look than this supposed game. I'm really disappointed with the aesthetics of that game. We're not in the 2000s for it to have that appearance. 8
I fell like we need a story game the thing that made the other two games so good is that you felt like you were in a south park episode itself but now that its 3d we wont have that😢😢😢
Finally, I’ve been waiting for a new South Park game ever since I played Fractured But Whole. Looking at this so far, the 3D graphics look ok. Also, hearing "New Kid" gives me hope that it has a Story Mode. Knowing Matt and Trey, I'm sure they would make this game great.
South Park: Phone Destroyer (iOS - Android) has no story mode, its just your team versus the game fights. And Cartman calls you "New Kid". Snow Day looks very similar, but in 3D. Phone Destroyer became a pay-a-lot-to-win, let's hope they don't do the same with this one.
@@bobrobertson5421 i know when i mean “ i hope its not like the n64 game” I did NOT mean 3d I ment I don’t want to be just shooting some enemies and its just that I want it to have a full complete story ( just like TSOT and TFBW)
it says co op so that might just mean u can have a friend play with u, like for example in Lego games u can have a friend connect and play with u through the story that might be the same story with this new south park game
I'm not sure going 3D will be universally well-received, but at the same time, there are some kinds of games you just cant make in 2D so I know yall will deliver something really special with this one!
@@Tinepotnodi had loved the Garden Warfare games so much. lets hope this game will actually make a good jump from 2D to 3D the same way The Garden Warfare games made with PvZ.
It makes me think of Simpsons Hit & Run, but actually retaining even more of the original style, especially with the facial expressions. I think it looks good, should be fitting for the kind of game they're making this time.
For a show that takes place in the Rocky Mountains it's rare there's an all-out blizzard setting in the show, which I've always loved the atmosphere of whenever they did it, so I'm gonna love this.
I can think of several off the top of my head. Returning the LOTR tape, Cartman freezing himself to thaw out for the Wii, Cartman finding a wrecked trailer of aborted fetuses
This looks like a fun game. My favorite part about this whole trailer is when before Cartman shows up on the screen, you can hear the sound of someone stepping in the snow. Such a nice soft crunching noise.
The south park kids on their way to unintentionally threaten their Colorado town over a snow day: South Park always puts so much love in their games judging from the past two, pretty excited.
@@ReveiwKing999 Just The first South Park game, the snowball FPS. Chev's Luv Shack was just a trivia game w/ mini games, which was the first South Park console game to use the art style from the show.
One of the best things about Stick of Truth and Fractured But Whole is the look of the gameplay. It feels like you're in the show. This was one of the worst things about the N64 South Park, and now we're going full circle even though the visual aspect of the games was already perfected. Brilliant.
Yeah… not sure why we’re going backwards. The sad part is that from what I’ve heard they’ve spent quite a bit of time on this game. Unfortunate this is the path they decided they’re going to go
Honestly, i think this is a cool approach to re-attempt 3d southpark Yeah, you can make your comparisons to the n64 game, but that was made by people who didn't know any better This honestly feels like a pretty splid attempt for a teaser (I will riot though if it has a battle pass)
This looks like it’s going to be whatever that genre the Diablo games and Baldur’s Gate are a part of, so this look fits very well. Seems like a good oppportunity for South Park to show it can be good in multiple genre’s
This seems like such a departure from the two previous games. I know it's different with it being from THQ and Question. However, the gameplay and art style of the previous games felt like you were immersed into an actual part of the show as it matched the show itself. I am curious to see more of this and I remain cautiously optimistic. Co-Op is nice as an additional feature as long as it doesn't subtract from a Story or single player experience if you don't have/are unable/don't want to play with someone else. I love the two previous games so much. I just finished my 3 playthrough of both the first and second game plus the DLC. THEN I saw this posted! I really want to love this game. Just give us fans the right reasons to love games again in general as well as this specially.
I don't have a problem with them. Why Assume that? I've played all the south park games. I started with the one on PC when it came out in 1999@@Saltpomoemy
Kinda bummed about the 3D after loving the feel of playing in an authentic animated episode like the last two games, but I’m still excited to see what they came up with!
I wanted to see more of the OG story tbh I wanted to see what they could had done with the super hero stuff and maybe become a super villain and join Butters or something
@@reddsyoutuberaffleit certainly felt like they were setting something up during the ending of Fractured But Whole. I didn’t realize this the first time playing through the game but slowly throughout the story the main kids start to hate you even more as the story progresses, starting from lite ribbing to full on blaming you for problems you didn’t cause, giving the ending of Professor Chaos asking the New Kid to go to the dark side a new meaning. Seems like the third game might’ve been about New Kid getting revenge on Cartman, Kyle, Kenny, Stan and the rest of the kids for the poor treatment they gave you in Fractured But Whole while you help Professor Chaos.
@@TheDigitalApple Yes I wish the game would had took that turn and it could had been like that one Spider man game(I forgot the name of it) were you get choices to do bad and right things in witch it can effect the ending say if you started to join back with the main kids Cartmen or such by having the choice to do good things or the choice to stick by Butters side that would had been lit. But really I respect Matt and Tray but I cant lie and say I don't feel disappointed like really "Snow day" in a town were it snows almost everyday and just looks like some Phone Game or Happy Wars rip-off...It's just disappointing because to be honest I started to get attached to the story and characters (Even the new kid even though they don't talk) and wanted to see were the story can go and how the new kid's ark can end.(Plus not a fan of the 3D style I mean it's cool for if it is a phone game but say if this was a continuation of Fractured but whole I think the style changing out of nowhere mid plot makes no sense and would make it feel like you are not even playing the og game)
This looks pretty cool! I’m not totally impressed with the 3D…but it’s definitely well animated. I would have hoped it looked more like Stick of Truth or The Fractured but Whole, since they look more like the show. I hope this one’s as good as the others!
@@oblongfan1 The game hasn’t even been released yet. How do you know that you’ll prefer it more other than the fact that it reminds you of the games on the N64?
@@elisabethheiman2104 because the other two were more rpg style which isnt really my thing. i just like free play games so i know this one ill like more as far as game play
The models look probably as good as is possible in 3D. I just wish the levels would look more like the intro from the current South Park seasons - a somewhat crafted looking 3D world with tilt-shift camera. The isometric perspective of this game would have lend itself perfectly to it.
As someone currently playing through the fractured but whole and having a riot I hope this incorporates the humor well even with focusing on multiplayer
I do kinda wish they’d waited a little longer to announce this because the art is pretty questionable the past 2 games were fantastic though, so fingers crossed!
@mason-greylong4792 in the last 2 games and most of the series past the 4th or 5th season. South Park actually has a pretty cohesive art and animation style.
This doesn't have the same atmosphere as first or second game.. Looks low quality with those graphics, the same as show was perfect... Why break the formula.. Looks cheap and Bland to me.. First game, perfect. Second.. Ehh... This... Hard to be interested
@@phajduk86 That's true, i liked the second one but there was something missing. I was so disappointed that there was no canada. The snow day game looks like a big step back, they should have kept the style from the first two games.
Glad to see another South Park game experimenting with 3D, definitely gonna pre-order when available and can’t wait for more info about this one in 2024 😁 Time for us to go on another crazy adventure with our favorite boys Kyle, Stan, Eric, Kenny, Butters, Tolkien, and the new kid 😅
@@fictionalmediabully9830indeed hence why I said I’m glad they brought it back like the Nintendo GameCube (or 64) one called South Park n64 type of 3d I know they use 3d in the show but I mean it like fully 3d
Bro wtf is this, it looks like a fan made game, I loved the first two games because it felt and looked like a South Park episode that we got to interact with. Why would they choose to make it 3D?
Im not sure how i feel about the graphics, i REALLY liked the other 2 because they seemed like south park episodes. I reaply hope this is just as good as the last 2 because im a HUGE fan of them 😅
There is no story and no rpg element. It's a cod like online game with sourh park characters. So when you pick stan every time than you have big screentime with him. But where is the point without story or rpg elements.
@extremeytgaming5826 I thought preordering was something you do before you get to play the game… or maybe you have another method than me of finding out if you like something.
I LOVED Fractured but Whole but now im excited for this one!! I love how even in 3D Cartman still moves like the TV series!! Even though they ditched the 2D artstyle its gonna be awesome!! Full of mayhem!!
