It is like 1/2 price but that also concerns me. A: is that to compensate for micro transactions? B: what kind of story / campaign? C: is there a campaign? D: is it online only? - I know it says can play solo but doesn’t mean you don’t ‘have to be online’ No matter what I’m buying it but it still has me curious / concerned.

@@bromanchoo9863their prior titles haven’t had any micro transactions, other than maybe a dlc pack. I honestly love their titles because it feels as if they are truly making these games because they enjoy it. Wouldn’t worry about that. It’ll be fun.

I agree. I think it's new and has it's own feel! I think they did a good job merging the 3D and 2D elements but in reality what will make this game good is the humor, that needs to be refreshing, bug free & have a good story.

Yeah, the problem with that is that if you keep doing the same shit, it gets stale and boring. If anything, they should do whatever they want to keep it fresh and interesting as opposed to rehashing the same thing like so many people want them to do.

They did tho. The first 2 were 3D the 4th 5th and 6th games were 2d but the first 3 were 3d and so is the 7th

They’ve had ups and downs but given the dumpster fire the Simpsons turned into. I don’t think any story based show has maintained a quality product for this long.

An their already contracted to go another 5 too!!! I grew up with both south park an the simpsons as the all orgionally aired too.. Iv never missed a episode. Except that one time during the storm with the black out, when I was 14, that sucked, no power for 3 days. While I do enjoy both the simpsons an South park, along side a few other nimated shows, it would be really hard for me to pick a favorite of the 2.. On one hand in my opinion south park has never rrally faltered in all they ve done. Except for the Farctured Butt Hole game they made. I love stick of truth so much more than fractured..frqctur3d had to much dialog in it imo..an it's just nit as fun to play. Rhe combats great but it just felt like it's missing the funny moments like stick of truth has. Simpsons on thr other hand havr always made great games overall. Simpsons hit an run. Simpsons rpg on the psp, the simpsons arcade game, the simpsons side scrolling game boy game..an the simpsons tapped out on mobile ( which netted over a billion dollars in revenue it's first year out on cell phones btw). So in terms of games I'd wager the simpsons have a better track record then south park does. An yes I remember the old south park Nintendo 64 games too. Those are fun. An I think there was even a south park game boy game back in the day. Its been a minute lol. I'm looking forward to playing this game though.

Just look at any game that does still have couch multi-player and you can notice the instant lack of fidelity, frame rate, and overall smoothness. From Zombies to Racing games.

I'm not saying it isn't valid, but that Borderlands 1-Pre Sequel all had fantastic split screen with even horizontal and vertical options, yet BL3 has one of the worst split screens of all time. And then you get EA showing off with games like It Takes Two or A Way Out, and ridiculous things such as the Xbox 360 San Andreas having the couch co-op rampages but then removing them later on after replacing it with the mobile version. It just feels like it's all to push us more and more online rather than just taking their time on the couch co-op.

This! What I loved so much about the previous South Park games was that it truly felt like you were part of a South Park episode. This feels different.

Don’t worry I’m sure it will still have a story and some funny scenarios. I just think they took it as far as they could go with the original style and setup of the town.

Its ok! They just trying new horizons and im sure it will not be even close to disappoint I loved the first games too but you have to have a bit of faith on the last main stream artists that still make banger of a show Who knows maybe you might like this even more!

@@dustinherk8124 I know they had a few before but stick of truth was their first good game and the fractured butt hole was good in terms of story and it was a continuation of the previous game. This looks like it continues the stick of truth story but differently than the other game. What I meant by third game was third game in the series not overall.

this doesn’t feel like just straight up multiplayer, i’m sure it’ll have a mode for PVP strictly though. but the trailer says you can play with friends, randoms, or even ally bots. it kind of reminds me of Ghost of Recon, you’re still playing a story but you’ll have teammates whether real or not. hopefully that’s the case, a 3D south park with a story would be sick. that’s just what i get from it anyways because it’s not really advertising itself as straight up multiplayer.

They need to make it clear in the marketing lol Like it's still unclear if this game is story based or just multiplayer. I think there's a whole fleet of people that are definitely gonna step away if it's just multiplayer. Not because of quality simple because of genre In a generation of just endless multiplayer garbage south park held a pretty high standard for single player games. So I hope they haven't abandoned it.

​@@BryanVonFriently not sure if its open world, however it has been confirmed that it's a 4 player PVE game. it's not PVP, and it's intended to be played with a squad of 3 friends, but you can play through the entire game solo or with random people
