South Point was the first Vegas property I ever visited back when I was 20 years old with no expectations of Las Vegas, love it. You two are so loveably corny. Always enjoy your Vegas videos!
I love southpoint...living in las vegas it's one of my top 3 my favorite places to go. I'm there atleast once a month. However their buffet has just never been good. If you want good seafood go next door to their oyster bar. Also love Silverado steakhouse and Michael's. Their sushi place is good too.

Very distant memory of when the Rio's Friday night seafood buffet was the gold standard and also another very good one at Mandalay Bay but times have changed as always in Vegas LOL! I actually prefer the pre-split crab legs too! Thank you for sharing your dining experience! 👍
The intro was funny and campy . Honest review. I’m guilty of never taking the time to wait in line for their buffet . I agree on casino oysters and clams . Sometimes not the best . Pistachio gelato is Seems like the buffet is a winner 🏆

I was In Vegas last weekend, and I went to 3 "cheap" buffets, and I was pleasantly suprised by all 3, excalibur, south points garden buffet and main street station's buffet, of all 3 this time around South point was a bit better, they change , every time I go they exchange places.

firelight buffet at sams town always had the best seafood night. The stuff they had. They had snow crab legs and stone crab claws. So much sushi so much seafood. 16.99 with players club card. That and they use to do a Polynesian night on thursdays that was excellent. 8.99 with players club.

I miss their buffet. the nicest staff, there the cashiers are so friendly they use to give a free beer or house wine and the frozen drinks at the little bar inside were so good. I miss eastside cannerys buffet. THey had the greatest fried chicken it was the recipe from the cafe in the nevada palace hotel casino. that was there before cannery was built. They served it in their cafe too but it was more worth going to the buffet to get that and full buffet.
Want to hear a shocking one. One of the best dinners we had was at terribles buffet. we went on all american night it was super cheap with the card was 7.99 for dinner. No lie I never had a better brisket in all my trips to vegas. they had brisket turkey and ham at carving station. a bbq section with ribs chicken and smoked sausages. made to order grilled burgers this lamb stew that was excellent 2 kinds of corn bread there and more stuff. Fried chicken thats also excellent that their cafe has on specials everything was so good the nicest staff and it was surprisingly a spotless buffet. My friends stayed there and said there breakfast and brunch was also very good.
I think I am most likely always going to go for the crab legs that are already cracked....just too much work to get to those little tiny pieces of 🦀. LOL, thanks for the well-rounded take on the food...
So the salmon was like cat food? That's sad. I guess living in the Pacific Northwest I'm spoiled when it comes to Seafood. I'm rarely ever even tempted to try salmon that far away from the ocean or where it's caught.

I’ve always wondered about that buffet and thanks to your video I’ve now got an idea of what it’s like. The food didn’t look all that appealing to me so I think I’d have to give it a pass. Thanks so much for keeping us all informed of places on and off the Strip.
If you eat with your mouth open others will know the food is good! But, the two of you got class and you eat with your mouth closed. Just don't forget to burp when you finish eating.! Do it loud!!!
Hi Paul , Maybe you missed it when Dave pointed out the prices for the buffet. Go to th time stamp 14:11 . The prices seem to range from $13.99 - $42.99 . It doesn’t look like they had any lobster at that buffet to me and from what I had read 🦞
