I hope Adam Silver was watching, this was real basketball no superstar calls, no traveling allowed, no touch fouls, no push offs, no defensive 3 seconds and physicality is encouraged! Exactly, I kinda started to see that now because of this game. That goes to show, despite the shooting skills of team USA, the old team USA dream team can very possibly give this team a run for its money just cuz physicality shakes things up for ppl, esp in crunch time. That being said, shooting skills is still undoubtedly still the most important imo, and South Sudan showed that they are no slouch at it at all

Probably not. Everybody has their day. It's not whether these guys can do it for 1 game, it's if they can do it for 82+ games that matters. I've had days playing soccer where I was untouchable and I never came close to professional level Edit. For all the haters Isiah Thomas averaged 30 points 1 year in the NBA and couldn't even get on a team 2 years later. The competition for playing time in the NBA is RUTHLESS. Another short hooper btw

Man, I must say this is the best basketball game I’ve watched since game 6 of the 22/23 NBA Finals, sheesh😤. The pace, the resilience, the heart, the tension, just everything poured out there by both teams, mayne, so so interesting and fun it was. A big shoutout to both teams especially South Sudan for putting up that elite level of competitiveness. Shows the world Africa has a great place in the world of Sports. As for CJ, mayne I am astonished. Last watched him in a lakers uniform few years back, dude kept his foot on the gas till the final minute and made e remark, I bet he gon be getting a max contract from the NBA anytime soon, GLeague kept him fit. For South Sudan to hold the USA basketball super team to a 1point score differential is a great accomplishment and Am happy for them. Not forgetting a 40year old leading by example as always, respect ✊🏿 to all these old folks(Lebron, Curry etc) still able to perform at such elite level and giving us something to cheer for. Pump your brakes. They are amazing, and played well, but team USA STRUGGLED, and it's wasn't because Sudan shut them down. 25% from the 3 is the main eye sore. Ironically I wish they made the put back dunk at the end. They earned it, but Carlik Jones and Marial Shayok stood out IMO. The rest were okay. For USA: The total number of field goal attempts (FGA) was 77, and the total number of missed shots was 40 (51.95%). The total number of 3-point attempts (3PA) was 28, and the total number of made 3-point shots (3PM) was 7 (25%). USA's shooting kept Sudan in the game.
