Yeah, in a fit of rage, she killed her kids and then realized what she had done and killed her kids. After that, she wandered as a ghost, looking for her kids.

I thought it was odd hearing that the legend happened in San Antonio, I figured maybe since San Antonio was part of Mexico in the past. La Llorona is such a cool story, and there is so many versions of the story.

Yeah they didn't tell the mexican version but there've been so many versions since that time. Historically it was based off of a real woman who's husband was a European/Spaniard who left her and never came back. She was hated him so much she couldn't bear to see her children and then died herself shortly after, according to Spain they added that she was punished by God (catholic influence) and was cursed to never know he children moved on in the afterlife to live in heaven so she walks the banks of the river that connects to Texas trying to find her children.

This version is wrong, her husband abandoned her so out of anger she drowned her two sons and for her actions she is condemned to all eternity until she finds the bodies of her children. And if she does not cry “ay mis hijos” the actual cry she makes is kinda hard to explain, if someone says he heard it and says she says she cry’s ay mis hijos they are lying and never actually heard her

@thavita_shewdas2655
@thavita_shewdas2655 5 лет назад
That's not how I heard it the real story was that she found a man and had two kids with him and then all of a sudden he started to ignore her and only gives the attention to the kids then one day she took her children and went to get some water I believe then she saw him in a car thingy with another woman then and then he stopped and only gives his attention to the kids as if she wasn't there and then he when off with the woman and she got so angry without even thinking she grabbed her two childrens arm and threw them into the river (they were next to a river btw) then she had realized what she had done so she jumped into the water hoping that her and her children's soul would meet up(think that's the word) then from there on she wander that exact river and people had said that in the night if you go to the river you can hear her crying oh and also they say that is you're a child and she finds children and see that you are not her children she throws you into the river. Im in Guyana and I know all this >:^

That's not the story yet but you almost have it stories about that her house burn down before the kids drown and she has two kids and my grandma told me that she and her cousins went over there to her burnt house and definitely it was a true story not about that a young man cheating on her and she drowned her kids that's not that it's about her house burned down before her kids died
@domsugar9160
