Great review; I love seeing work by individual luthiers! I would love to see that in a gloss finish!

This was a nice review Steve. That is a cute little ukulele with it's Romero Creations style headstock. The wax finish will need to be regularly re applied because it will dry out and wear off.

At first I saw the thumbnail and thought to myself... that looks like Steve's room but why is there a young woman holding the ukulele? LOL. Anyway, I like that he uses pecan wood because it's something you don't see very often but there's lots of it in Texas. I like those natural finishes like that. I know it's common that people will use natural oils and waxes to seal a Native American flute but it seems to be rare with string instruments.

As you probably surmised, that’s my daughter! I figured more people are likely to notice a cute young than an old man, LOL! I have some of the pecan wood and look forward to building a “proper” instrument with it! Thanks for watching and commenting!
