Greetings from the Cayman Islands. I visited these places when i was a student at UWI. Really enjoyed the tour of the pitch lake. I thought this was the most beautiful area of Trinidad.

Last year at this time I experienced a 9.5 hour flight delay in Toronto with Caribbean Airlines. The CA flight was supposed to leave for Trinidad at 11pm. It was a connector flight from Calgary. I ended up sleeping on a bench for the night in the airport. I'm a senior citizen. The next day, CA sends an email stating they will reimberse me for $500 as stated by the International Passenger Protection Agency. After giving them my banking information 'twice', they have chosen to ignore me and my emails - asking 'What's going on???'. I will not visit Tobago unless this is resolved. I can do Grenada, Martinique or St. Lucia any day.

@@adad1270 Not resolved. I have a case opened with Canadian Transport Agency. I submitted it 14 months ago and now they telling me I'm +1600 in line to be looked at. They sent me an email to say 'Are you still there?'. This has been going on +2 years now' Even though CA sent me an email (the day after the 9.5 hour delay) that they would send me $500 - nothing. No response to emails. I opened a case with there Help Desk - nothing. Thanks for your suggestions and care. Tobago still is my dream place.
The women are just SNOBS! I've visited Trinidad and Tobago from the San Francisco and Toronto! Many times! The " Doubles" are just fantastic! And vegan ! Delicious!
