Looks a nice little spot. It looks easy access. Cos I’ve got a disabled mate and we are looking for some new spots. Is it alright for people that can’t walk too far. 👍🏻
Depends where you want to fish on magazine lane mate but to walk to where I was it’s around a 5 min walk.. you can either park in the car park at the end of magazine lane or the housing estate just before and cut through to the middle of Maggy lane closer to where I was fishing hope that helps mate 👍🏻
Another great video - I think I saw you at this venue a week or so ago - I was with my lad and we fished up by the Mag Lane Car Park - if it was you, you had just landed a nice whiting? Is there parking with access closer to the North end where this video was, or do you have to walk round from the Mag Lane Car Park. Also, is there an accessible path to the spot at Bury Marsh? It is hard to tell on Google maps. I hope to get down there again shortly while the weather further out is not so good. I didnt realise how deep the channel is and how quickly you have to wind not to get snagged. Thanks for all the info to date!
Hiya mate thank you for the comment really appreciate it 😁 I was fishing Friday and Saturday at the same spot what day was you there? If you add me on Facebook I will screenshot the map and draw on it to show you parking snd the path mate, either add my Facebook group Born Fishing Die Fishing 🎣🎣
That’s always my one bit of advice I give anyone fishing Maggy lane, once you reel on do it quick and don’t stop to avoid the snags.. and that’s always done me good. A lot of people won’t fish the venue due to getting snagged a lot but as long as I do the above I’m all good 🎣🎣
@@bornfishingdiefishing182 Cheers mate - have sent you a FB Friend request - Trent Kinghorn. Appreciate the advice! I was there with my lad on Saturday 20th - later in the afternoon as it was a high tide then around 1730h from memory... We were fishing with squid and rag, but only got one dogfish on the squid.
