My wife and I stayed in Southampton for two nights in October 2023, all the way from Australia. We were booked on a Norwegian cruise that left and return from there. We stayed at the Pig in the Wall, that you passed on your walk, and also had dinner at Duke of Wellington, where I had the best fish and chips and mushy peas I've ever had. Next time we are in the UK, we'll definitely stay longer in Southampton.
