While I'm not a musician, I appreciate talent/art and this is both! Living in the US and tolerating all of the mainstream garbage that is pushed on everyone by the media, etc is sad. Imagine this, I live in the Deep South and while not prevalent, I do run into folks on occasion that do actually listen to good music. I introduce as many as I can to progressive and progressive metal. They are always very surprised when they find that the music is new! It does take a few IQ points to appreciate good music these days I've found. Of course, when I discovered Southern Empires, I was quite pleased. I can't wait until the next release. I will add that "How Long" confused me a bit when I first heard it because I discovered United Progressive Fraternity a few months prior to this and already owned that album. I recognized "Intersection" immediately and really like both versions!

Oh and then Tears for Fears, Supertramp, and Emerson-like break followed by some Petrucci-like guitar. Oh, and the sop sax outside solo takes it to another level, something no 70s prog band could do. Nice work - great to hear such creativity like this again. Thank you!!!

Uhh... WTF!? Did I just kill your hopes (along with Keith Emerson) by reading this comment last night, AT EXACTLY THE SAME TIME HE MIGHT HAVE PULLED THE TRIGGER!?

Very sad. Just saw this reply to the comment. Why can't we just say nice things to others instead of being mean and nasty? We don't know what others are going through and that was evident in the events that caused Keith to take his life. RIP Mr. Emerson... NEVER Forgotten!

No mate...I definitely didn't mean you. I meant all the internet trolls who were lambasting him because he had nerve damage in his left hand and it wasn't as strong any more. They were saying things like 'he's past it' and 'he should just give up'. That cuts deep...especially if you're a sensitive artist which Keith obviously was.

We'd love to, but the difficulty in obtaining work visas makes it near impossible as it would cost us over $3k for the band with no guarantee of a successful application. :-(
