I was at the game. UAPB defense played well and their running game was good, but they just couldn't make plays downfield or convert on 3rd down. They shot themselves in the foot. They have to get their passing game together. Also, like I said I was at the game. Don't let anyone lie to you. The attendance number is right. UAPB fans actually had a nice turnout, and a lot of JSU people still came out to support the SWAC. I would have liked to see another 10K but for a team change after almost 30 years it was a good showing. People are showing pics of a near empty stadium, but for whatever reason the UAPB fans were slower to come in than JSU fans. In the second quarter people were still coming in. A lot of JSU fans are in before the Boom marches in. After halftime people started leaving when the PB offense still couldn't get anything started. You can't expect UAPB to be like JSU in one year. They don't have the large student and alumni base in Memphis they once had. If anything TSU had less people than they usually do. I don't know if some fans got fooled by the big loss last week or what.
