On this episode of Rock Rods we are taking you to Dirty Turtle Offroad Park in Bedford, Kentucky for Race 5 of the 2017 SRRS Southern Rock Racing Series. We have over 30 of the best rock bouncing buggies in the Country that are ready to put it all on the line to see who is the best Rock Bouncer. Tim Cameron comes into this event with a healthy lead but there are a good bit of drivers looking to beat him to the podium including Brandon Davis in Showtime 2.0 and Clayton Hollingsworth in the Outlaw. Don't count out Jake Burkey in the Riot Buggy as he just squeezed another 100 horsepower out of that Supercharged LS engine and is ready to Send It! See how has what it takes to put down the fastest time in this 2 hill climb format.

great joy to watch. as a new comer, I wish the leaderboard had the rig name as well, I can more easily remember that and associate it to a run than I can with the driver's name. don't know if that is a possibility, but otherwise, it was a ton of fun to watch.

This turned out to be a good weld check. Looks like they have a hard time controlling the buggies at high speed because they have to run there tires so low. Looks like it was a blast to watch them in person. Please post dates on the next events. Got to keep it going.

Great videos. I dig the up to date leader board as well as the driver and buggies names. The filiming is fantastic! You know where to look on the buggy after the failed attempt to show the damage done to the buggy. Could you add a stopwatch? Either way, I really dig your channel.

BustedKnuckleVideo I've noticed a lot of rings use two separate treads between front and rear.. Why is that? Looks like boggers, iroks, and some other knobby tread and the occasional aggie tire.. Haven't seen any guys running baja claws, or mid grapplers, or Maxxis, pitbulls, ground Hawgs.. Though I guess that's because most of the tires are for mud? And you'd want a tire with more surface area for better dry traction on rocks and dirt instead of diggers?

Dang, what happened to General? Didn't look like a driveshaft snapped, sounded more like a transmission failure or transfer case failure? Shame. I'm a Ford guy. but i think he needs a blower on that thing, because ford and stroked or not, there is a significant power difference between the likes of Unfinished business, Riot, Plowboy II, kill shot, etc, and those who don't have forced induction.

BustedKnuckleVideo I've only just started watching these types of buggies.. Still figuring out who is running what.. I just know there are very distinct power differences between at least unfinished business, riot, plow boy 2, a red buggy with a turbo and big tractor looking tires (sounds like a smaller motor), outlaw, and then other rigs.. I find these things fascinating from the amount of abuse they seem to take and then turn around and snap a shaft or hub on what would seem like a love tap in comparison to some of the stuff they go through.

I was just wondering just a round about number of what one of these costs to build? I've never seen them in person. but they are awesome. no races in Ohio, Powerline park used to have them. they cost anywhere from 40k to over 100k to build

Speaking of "fast runs"... it was impressive to see Cameron beat Hollinsworth. That was close! ...I always thought "Outlaw" was gonna change the whole game. I really expected him to win every event that he finished, but I guess you can never take the reigning champ lightly... Hat's off to Cameron!

Negative, you can't just hop in a TC buggy and get in the top 5. You have to be a decent driver already. For every brandon davis there are guys that bought his buggies and couldn't get on the podium with them
