Today I'm out and about at the southern waters of Singapore, Nobuo and I kicked off the day with casting, our sights set on the groupers or coral trout. Nobuo's efforts were soon rewarded with a catch-an orange spotted grouper weighing less than 3kg.
As the tide gradually picked up momentum, our focus shifted to the spirited pursuit of longfin trevally. To our delight, the waters were abundant with these sleek, silver predators, providing an exhilarating challenge for each angler. Laughter and camaraderie filled the air as we enjoyed the thrill of the catch using jigs and sabiki.
Even when using sabiki, there an easy trick to it to catch more longfin trevally per drop. Come fish along with me and I can share with you what's the trick.
Nobuo's impressive grouper and the lively longfin trevally encounters made it another a day to remember, it's a repeat of last year fun fishing.
It's enjoyable to catch longfin trevally when seaweed are all over the reef at this time of the year.
