I believe if SU had transitioned to brass Sousaphones. When the swac changed, there would be no debates. SU has always had great sousaphone players. There instrument limitations prevented there greatness. It's like a skilled race car driver using a pinto to race a amateur in a corvette. The skilled driver loses, as a result of his 🚗
You crazy Su did alot of damage with those fiber brass tubas you tripping 1 Tuba player got a million Veiws on those fiber brass tubas No other school has a player to do that He got yall watching Su got multiple videos with Millions of viewers on a Single video got Australian folks doing reviews on the arrangements name another school to do such a thing
@@chrisnelson9411 just imagine how much more damage it would have been if they were actually brass. I see you didn't read or understand what I previously wrote. I know a lot of sousaphone players that played for SU in the 80's to late 90's.
What people have to realize also is that, SU just got those horns about 2019 right? Those horns have to be broken in and it takes about two to three years for that horn to really break in, listen to when they first got them and compare to now, this fall they will really be thumpin. Squad 24 all day!!!✌🏽
This section struggled for a long time so it’s nice to hear something decent dude! A lot of the moving and tension isn’t necessary especially on tuba but this is an improvement from what we usually hear from you all. Keep working.
@@columbusindianaphilharmoni8486 Bro, you know Schiller makes some exceptional deep cups, right? *edit:* “Schiller”? Wtf is a “Schiller”, auto-correct?? I meant “SCHILKE”, obviously😅
