What’s most impressive about SU is how their tubas have transformed over the years and changed the narrative about themselves! They use to be trash but now one of my favorite tuba sections 💯🔥 Rest of the band sound kinda fell off from Boombox… still don’t understand how people said the won… oh well🤷🏾‍♂️😅 As always, PV has a great sound(at times)🤓…but arrangements kills them every time..🤷🏾‍♂️🥴

🫢 honest assessment, this the worst I have ever heard PV they have not done a good job moving forward this year there sloppy and unclean 👎🏽…I love SU with all of me-I’ll fight somebody over SU frfr I’ve playing under both Taylor and Todd, but something’s off …the arraignments are fire 😮‍💨 but that human jukebox balance is not there 🫣 🩵💛🎶 GO JAGS ✊🏽

SU alum here and love my Juke! But you’re so right!!! Something is off with the sound. 2022 season was really the last time they sounded like “us” to me. But I agree they are improving weekly…just hope they can rediscover the balance.

I agree. It's like you catch glimpses of it but it's not consistent. We have always been loud but we still had the swag and balance. I think there are moments for instruments need to back off some while other sections speak up. Maybe they don't know the songs they are playing especially the ones before their time. I dunno. Still love em tho

You noticed when SU battled pv they started talking down on SU, , but not one word about how bad pv sounded lol..., They seemed salty because the Jukes sounded better than their band this week...
